Leaving only a hint of sour at the back of your mouth and a tad bitter after taste but pleasant like dark chocolate. Overall the flavor is rich. a full flavored cup that I could drink daily and not be disappointed with. For frame of reference I drink coffee strong and black. Usually using 6-8 oz of water with a K-cup. For example Starbucks French Roast served Black @ 8oz is 2 stars in my book. This coffee Flavor wise I give 3.5 stars.Presentation: 3.5 StarsPart 1 Visual. I don't care about the packaging so long as nothing is broken and nothing was broken. The color of the coffee is nice, normal, not grainy. I do like to see the oils at the top of the cup something that wasn't present at 8oz. I will try again at 6oz and see if there is a change but I doubt it as the oils are usually present or they aren't. Seeing the oil is a sign of the roast and/or how fresh the coffee is. For this reason I give it 3 stars.Part 2 Aroma: The Aroma is mild. Reminds me of the first smell of coffee when you walk into your favorite pancake house. Yeah you're there for the cakes but the coffee is always good. Aroma is 4 stars.Over all Presentation is 3.5 StarsPrice: 4 StarsThis comes down to Presentation + Flavor / Cost = ValueAt a little north of .50 cents a cup I'd say its a good value.Overall Rating: 4 StarsWhile not my favorite, that brand is not always available. Real Good Coffee French Roast is a good stand by, a break from my norm, good share with coworker or excellent choice for an afternoon cup. I like to keep 3 different brands and a variety left overs in my office. My Boss, Coworkers and Employees always come sniffing around for my coffee. Especially my Boss. Real Good Coffee will make a real good offering when they come fishing for a cup while serving as a solid when I need a break from my norm or just want a smooth afternoon cup of Joe.

My coffee pods arrived in good shape and on time. I know everyone has a preference when it comes to coffee flavor, but for me, this coffee was just "ok". The French Roast is a nice bold flavor and my favorite of all the choices. The one labeled "organic" was not very tasty at all and I gave those away.. We'll definitely drink what we ordered, but unless the price is just too good to pass up, I'm not sure I'll order again.

This is the only coffee I can drink black. Strong caffeine buzz, slightly acidic taste. Low bitter notes.

60% of the k-cups exploded in my keurig. I have had to take apart the machine more times than I can tell you to wash it out. My daughter complains now when she makes hot chocolate she has coffee grinds in it... I tried using the strong setting as it moves the water slower through the k-cup but same thing happens... looks like the seals around the edges are not glued well. It is a shame cause the coffee is rather good.... I had subscribe and save and did not cancel in time so looks like I will be sending the new box back when it arrives...UPDATE 2/11/2018I am going to change my review from 1 star to 4 star..Reason for my change is that when I went to cancel my subscribe & save order due to the above problem, low and behold I was late and it shipped.. That's what I get for procrastinating, lol. I am now halfway through the box and had none of the k-cups explode at this point. I guess I had a bad batch shipped the first time..The company has also offered to replace the ones that exploded so no loss of money. Excellent customer service guys!The coffee is really good for the price.. that is why I ended up opening the box when it arrived and giving it another shot.Hope this helps someone.

I'm new to the K-Cup scene, I got tired of dumping a half a pot of coffee down the drain every morning. With the K-Cup's, you end up paying around $50 a lb. for the convenience of being able to make just one cup of coffee at a time. I was actually paying less per cup to waste coffee ... but I hated just dumping it down the drain and not making use of it. It is expensive to try so many offeriings out there to find which one is the best cup of coffee ... and then I found the Real Good Coffee Company !!! What a relief it was to find a coffee roaster who spends all their time and money focusing on producing incredibly good coffee ... and not spending OUR money on packaging, marketing and hype. Just 'no-frills' GREAT coffee, with loose cups in a brown cardboard box. Who needs all the 'fancy-smancy' stuff that you end up throwing away anyway? I just want the best coffee that I can find out there, and I think that I have found it. Believe me, my coffee has to be good. For years I would even buy green beans and roast it myself to get exactly what I was looking for in a cup off coffee. This coffee delivers everything I expect in a great cup of coffee and satisfies me in every way, so what more would one want? If you just want an incredibly good 'cup o' joe' in the morning and you are in a hurry ... this is the one for you.

Given the write up on this coffee "Extra Dark", I was disappointed compared to my other "Dark" coffees I enjoy and the higher price of the "Real Good Coffee" makes it a 'skip-it' next time.

All the flavours taste good and no problem so far with the pods. Giving a 4 star cause the recycling part is not too user friendly. No indentations on the rim to peel and throw away whats inside the in a few seconds.

Coffee was very good. French roast is very bold. Variety is good also.

Was good, not great.

Coffee was ok. However 1 of every 5 we used exploded in our keurig. Which we havent experienced with other brands. For that reason alone we will not be buying this again
