Great Tassel Loafer at a Great Price
High quality leather shoe at a terrific price. I have worn Cole Haan loafers for years. I have narrow feet and the regular size fits me well.

Feels Too Tight
My second pair in about 9 years and I can tell you that the brand has not changed that much. My first pair was very tight but became okay after few wears. This new pair is acting in a similar way and hopefully, it fits me perfectly in a few months time. I love the shoes though.

Just great shoes.
Classy. Great craftmenship. Nice leather. Easy to polish. Comfortable from the first time you put your feet in.

Finally found narrow width.
After looking on line off and on for a B width for several years these popped up. Arrived in two days and they’re perfect—just like the ones I’ve worn for years. Happy camper.

They are very comfortable and stylish
I stock up these loafers when on sale. They run big (i.e. I usually wear 8.5 and I have to wear 7.5 for this one). But I have been wearing Cole Haan pinch for years and I know exactly my size. They are very comfortable and stylish. The quality has been deteriorting since 2015. It might be my imagination but I just find the overall quality is not as good as those I got before 2015. Cole Haan has actually phased out this style and released some other Grand Penny so I cannot comment on that. I always keep 4 extra pairs around and throw an old pair every 18 to 24 month when they look tired. Have never really resoled them since they are really inexpensive shoes. Great for sockless look in the summer as well. I wear them all day long without any problem but would not recommend walk all day in them (no leather shoes can provide that level of comfort if you walk all day anyway). Almost no break in time (maybe a few days max).

Rant Alert
This is an amateur review written by someone who doesn't have an extensive experience in branded dress shoes. I have owned and wore a few pair of affordable and reasonably comfortable leather dress shoes. And I have been curious about some of the brands and why they are good. Yes I have not tried John Lobb or Edward Green. If someone has, I'd appreciate if you can tell me if the John Lobb experience fits the description below., so I can safe the trouble in trying those brands for good.I brought this pair because of the look. Yeah they look just like in pictures, shiny Burgundy, exactly the way I wanted. The first pair was far too tight and the sole feel like stone. The leather feels stiff, which is fine.So I returned and read a few reviews about "break-in," thought I should give another try. So I got a second pair half a size larger. After they arrived, I put them on walking around my home. After a few hours, the leather part has been tamed to the shape of my feet, but the sole still feels like walking on concrete. And it is very slippery when the leather sole hits the wooden floor.I wear them out of my home after about 3 nights of indoor break-in. The sole is unbelievably slippery on every kind of surface: wooden, rubber, marble and even carpet! I literally felt like skiing everywhere I went. The only places they don't slip are rough pedestrian walks and gravel path. The sole is still hard like steel that hurts my sesamoid bones so bad. I walked less than 1 mile in a period of about 6 hours and I can't believe how the back section is rubbing against my skin! And not that I have been wearing thin socks; I wear fairly thick socks and they can not mitigate the fiction. The attachments show how damaging they have done to my heels in just a little stretch of walk. I can feel that I won't be able to run or exercise in a few weeks, and does Cole Haan compensates?I have not wore anything so torturing for god knows how long. Those who can endure through the break-in must be masochist, otherwise I really don't know what they have been wearing to say this could be comfortable after break-in. The break-in is impossible for me as an average guy with above average pain tolerance, that I don't feel whatever benefit come after it is worth expecting. They hurt me so bad that I went in a moment of zen while walking, and I can now understand the damage high heels have done to women. I understand that so called "quality" dress shoes prioritize durability over comfort. But if any shoes are so unbearable, does it matter that it last a decade. I'd much prefer a comfortable pair that do not require break-in and last only a year or two.

Perfect
In reality it looks even nicer than in the picture. Size seems I bit bigger. I wear usually 9.5 but 9w was just fine. Nice classy shoes.
