300mm T8 Tr8x2 Lead Screw and Brass Nut (Acme Thread, 2mm Pitch, 1 Start, 2mm Lead) for LCD DLP SLA 3D Printer and CNC Machine Z Axis

Great leadscrews
Upgraded the TR8x8 leadscrews on an i3-style printer with these. Both leadscrews I got are straight and well machined. The nut has very little backlash too, certainly less than my old screws, although that doesn't matter much for a 3D printer's Z axis.Be aware you may need to adjust more than just your steps per unit if you're upgrading from TR8x8's. Your motor is now moving 4x as far for the same Z movement, so your previous acceleration and jerk values may be too high and could result in lost steps and Z banding. I find an acceleration of 100 and a jerk of 0.3 work well with my trinamic drivers at 800mA. Also, using Marlin 2.0's junction deviation feature at the default settings resulted in horrific Z banding for me, so you'll likely need to tune that down or revert back to classic jerk like I did.

No more falling bed on Ender 5
Solves the problem of the falling print bed on Ender 5. Also adds a bit more accuracy to your prints due to the better resolution. Install and set your Z axis ZSTEPS to 1600 and you will be set. Now having a feature like pause print and auto resume actually works!

Good quality...weak springs
The pair are decent quality , not too much backlash in the nut on the leadscrew but the springs are very weak when using them in preload mode to reduce backlash. I guess they are all weak though no matter who you buy one from. You will have to replace the 10.15mm ID x 55mm L and 16mm L@full compression stainless steel springs with something stronger because I dont see these springs working too well on a decent sized print without causing ghosting ,especially a print with a lot of vector changes.

Pretty but not very functional
They looks nice until you go to install them the find the the holes don't line up. If the holes were 4mm you might get away with it, but as is its a no go, amd stay away from me. Tjenholes look like they were done by hand, by someone in a hurry to get off work. It's disappointing as these came recommended.

Quality product. Be sure to lube it.
Using this on my ender 5 Pro. It was a direct replacement. However it took some tinkering to get everything just right. There was a horrible squeal, so I lubed the lead screw with synthetic grease. I spent a lot of time getting it aligned with the coupler for the z-stepper. Also spent a lot of time centering the nut on the build plate/platform. Once done, wobble is nearly gone and very smooth prints on the z-axis.

Solid and precise
These are very nice if you want to add another level of precision to your 3D Printer or CNC. The pitch on these requires more steps per mm on you Z axis but the quality is awesome. This set was perfect for my CoreXY and Cartesian printers. I plan to buy these to replace all of the Z axis on all of my printers. Good quality and nice tight fit on the brass nut. I didnt notice any significant slack so you shouldnt need a backlash nut for most 3d printer applications.

tested in ender 5. works great
perfect for the ender 5 (pro or standard) to stop the dropping bed issue

Mine came bent
I was hoping to get get lucky with these lead screws but they were bent so it made no diffrence on the repair for my 3d printer... I honestly wish I would of haved up for a higher quality set.
