We only moved over one town but a new school friends neighbors and house change is hard. But this book gave simple explanation for how moving can be scary sad and happy. This book helps. We are moving soon and my son is leaving everything familiar and is dreading the experience. We have read this book several times to help with the anxiety.

We are military moving is a part of the life style. We were moving, my oldest was not happy about it. THis book helped her express all those negative emotions about moving, without a temper tantrum. And it validated how she felt, this helped her as well.

I love the way this book pictures the anxiety and how misunderstood a kid can feel when they experience such a traumatic event as moving. Such a beautiful book, very fun to read!
