Copper Sulfate Mini Crystals 2.5lb Jar

We have an LPP septic system with a holding/pump tank. We were told to put copper sulfate into the system twice yearly to prevent roots from infiltrating the LPP drainfield pipes (these are not buried very deep and tree roots can infiltrate). Since my husband can't move the heavy cement lid on the riser to the pump tank, we were instructed to put the copper sulfate into the manifold pipe and the pumping process would then distribute the product. We did this with Zep Root Kill, but after 2 months, there were still some undissolved crystals in the manifold pipe, which meant that the crystals did not dissolve in a timely fashion. Our septic company suggested putting a powder or very small crystal size of copper sulfate into the manifold. I was having great difficulty locating the smaller crystal size (1-2 mm) and did find it on Amazon. I am confident that the smaller crystal size (more like a powder, really) will dissolve in prompt fashion thereby being distributed evenly through the entire drain field. I will definitely be buying this product again. I want to add that this vendor was very prompt in getting the product to us, it was packaged well, arrived in excellent condition, and was exactly what we were looking for. Very pleased!!

purity of my batch was higher than 99% claim (please keep this in mind if you're growing crystals they may still need recrystallization). I consider these a good value for the purity/quality in a small purchase size.

Received as promised, not much to add as it is a plastic bottle containing copper sulfate.

Copper plating is easy to do at home and while I could have spent a lot more at the big box DIY center for stump killer (and have to check to be sure it's 100% copper sulfate). Easy to use liquid. My leftovers were used to kill plants after.

I can’t rate this item. I purchased it for my pond to reduce my vegetation. I read the information carefully prior to purchase and determined it was safe, however, upon reading the actual label when it arrived the first thing it said was toxic to fish and do not get it in any water bodies. I had to return it and pay the postage to do so.

I bought this to grow crystals.It dissolves completely in water. No pollutants were visible to the eye.I have grown some beautiful shiny blue crystals with this.
