I have been looking into the pregnenolone supplement seeking the same effects I take 7-keto for which are weight loss, help with focus, energy, and to replenish declining hormone levels as I get older. I docked stars for the way too large dosage, and misleading marketing on the bottle-while there is an American flag sticker on the bottle, if you read closely, it says 'Formulated in the USA'. There is nothing about where this product is sourced, which means an American company likely sourced this from China.

I usually take 50-100 mg/day of pregnenolone so this is a high dose. Its surprising that the capsule is half the size of the 50 mg pregnenolone capsules I usually take. So far, I can't tell any difference but I'm hoping the large dose will be apparent on my next lab tests since I'm usually low on my hormones.This company doesn't have any transparency in their manufacturing or testing which concerns me. Yes, that's all pretty nitpicky but if it goes in my body I want to make sure I am getting what is claimed on the bottle and that it is safe and pure. This brand has been around for 11 years according to their site and they are an American business. They are very transparent about all the above I mentioned. The ingredients in their product are pure and the formulas are uncomplicated. The prices are very reasonable which they state is one of their priorities. I can heartily recommend this pregnenolone by Supplement Spot on that basis. As for the pregnenolone supplement, I found the capsules very easy to take with no aftertaste. I was looking for some midafternoon energy and hormone support. I did get what I was looking for but it did take a couple weeks. Most vitamins and supplements do not work instantly and for some not at all because it is not what you need. In that case I recommend you have some labs done to determine how much if any pregnenolone you need. This is a hormone and more is not better.
