I rescued an 11-year-old senior dog with bad teeth. She was afraid to play with stuffies bc she was raised with kids and stuffies were "their" toys. She refused to play with anything hard because of her teeth. I bought dozens of toys trying to convince this dog that play was ok and I lost hope until I found "the UFO". This is her favorite toy. She takes it on walks, to bed, outside to kennel... and she's learning to play fetch with it! (put a treat in, toss, let her return it for a refill) The soft texture can be chewed without hurting her teeth--it's durable for her but as the images in other reviews prove, it's not for moderate chewers.Pro-tip for senior dog owners, dasaquin fits *perfectly* in the holes and gives them some mental stimulation as they try to chew and lick it out.

I really enjoy the way this was made. My dog is a chewer. A puppy. A teething Beast.. but the small disks inside or treats were just not enough of a temptation for her. She chews on the you while teething.. but cannot get to the treats. Which leaves her very frustrated and the you gets forgotten until teething time again. So. If you need a teething toy and spray some treat spray on it your pup will love it. To get to the reward? Not so much.

I want to love this toy because my dog does so much; she LITERALLY asks for it every morning, and I've bought her a few replacements. She has ripped the holes where the rings go but doesn't try to destroy the toy itself, but instillnworry she'll accidentally rip pieces off and swallow them. Durability is low for my strong-jawed pittie, but she loves it anyway.

The rings were easily taken out abs the other pockets on the sides, were very hard to get out. So much that I often dug them out with a butter knife. I threw it away after the food would get stuck and gross. I wanted a puzzle toy. It did really nothing to keep my very smart puppy occupied.

Our dog ripped this up in less then 20 minutes. He still has to dig for the rings, but he's damages the rubber and ripped several of the areas where the rings are.

I was sent a medium, I ordered a large. My dog does great with most Starmark toys, but he had this in tiny pieces in under 5 mins! NOT for chewers!
