Crystal-Clear Signal and Solid Build!
The RFAdapter RG8x Coaxial Cable (50ft) is absolutely top-notch! I use it for my CB radio setup, and the signal clarity has been fantastic โ strong, steady, and low noise from end to end. The low-loss design really makes a difference, especially over a 50-foot run, keeping communication crisp and reliable. The PL259 male-to-male connectors are solid and well-machined โ they screw on snugly and stay secure with no static or signal dropouts. The cable itself is flexible yet durable, easy to route through tight spaces without kinking, and feels built to last. Itโs perfect for CB, ham radio, or scanner use, and the performance easily matches cables that cost twice as much. Iโve had zero issues with interference, and the range improvement was noticeable right away. If you want a high-quality coax cable that delivers excellent signal with dependable construction, this RFAdapter RG8x is a clear winner. Reliable, strong, and ready for the road or the shack!

Good value
Seems to be good coax, I didn't receive any specifications so basically it's mystery coax. Is it worth it to buy expensive coax where you know the specs and quality? You be the judge.

Works well enough for hobby work
rg8x is very flexible, this was easy to install. Line losses are more than rg8. I mainly got this to fool with an old CB, and for the most part the CB band in my area is a mess. I used the same setup on my ham radio for HF receive and some transmit.

Great cable! Good connectors!
I like to camp and set up my radio and antenna and see how far I can get. I am using this for my portable open-stub J-pole antenna, and have been connecting it to a handheld. I was able to reliably get into repeaters well over 100 miles away, using 5 watts. Not bad for qrp! I measure under 1.1 on the SWR at mid 2m band with the antenna hung from a tree (which it's made to do), so the cable has no more than expected impedance loss. This cable has so far held up quite well to being thrown in a bag and dragged around camping. I did have a rabbit take a bite out of it while I slept one night though, and he nibbled it down to the braided sheath. Nothing a bit of electrical tape can't cover though, and it had no effect on the cable itself. The connectors seem of good quality and well made. The antenna has an SO-239 this plugs right into, and I use an adapter to SMA on the other end. Both connectors work well for this use. Cable works great, and it is much easier than buying and building your own. Love it!

Good value for money
The value for money is undeniable. Just make sure that you polish the centre pin on PL259 with some fine sanding paper, as they may have burrs from soldering.
