Aurora 7: The Mercury Space Flight of M. Scott Carpenter (Springer Praxis Books)

Gods Speed, Scott Carpenter. We miss you
I was Scott's webmaster and friend. I'm also friends with the author, Colin Burgess. Scott's flight of Aurora 7 had it's problems and I'm glad to see that Colin presented them as they should be. A memorable flight where we thought we lost an astronaut so early in the space race. Scott was a poet - and he is greatly missed. His web site is at www [dot] scottcarpenter [dot] com where Scott got to say a lot of things in his own words - plus some great interviews and videos. Hats of to Colin Burgess for yet another wonder book in his series of Space Books.

Another in a great series that looks back on the Mercury Program
Another in a great series that looks back on the Mercury Program. You get a great look at the behind the scenes of this mission, and learn more about Scott Carpenter as a real person, not a TV or movie character, including his post NASA career. It includes many photos that have I have never seen before. I can't wait until the next mission!
