WHEN MATTRESS ARRIVED IT WAS ALL VACUUM WRAPPED , A USEFUL TOOL INSIDE IS FOR CUTTING THIS OPEN . LEFT MATTRESS RESTING FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE TRYING OUT . FIRST NIGHT AND FUTURE NIGHTS SLEEP WERE PERFECT , NO WAKING UP TOO HOT OR ACHES AND PAINS . MATTRESS IS SOFT BUT NOT ECESSIVELY , OVERALL VERY PLEASED , ALSO I HAVE A ELECTRIC BED WITH HEAD RAISE SEE PICTURE 1 . USE THIS REGULAR AND AS IN PICTURE 2 THERE IS NO AFTER DISTORTION .
