Not enough padding
I ended up sewing an insert into the inside of this case so my snowboard would be a bit more protected. That’s the only issue I had with this product. I think there should be more padding on the inside of it considering it’s there to protect a very expensive piece of sport equipment. The bag for gear is nice I open up my snowboard case and stand on it while I put my gear on so my feet don’t get wet.

Decent for the price, just got it so I can't comment on durability but like all budget products treat it well and you should get your money's worth. I am happy that this bag actually fits the advertised length of snowboard.I am mostly writing this to compare it to the similarly-priced High Sierra snowboard sleeve and bag combo here: High Sierra Snowboard Sleeve And Boot Bag Combo, Black . I got the High Sierra bags are priced cheaper but I got the Athletico bags tax free so they were actually a couple dollars cheaper but essentially they are the same price.Board bag: The Athletico bag claims to fit a 165cm snowboard, and it fits my 164 with bindings with about 2cm to spare. The High Sierra bag did NOT fit my 164, I had to stretch the fabric and even then could barely get the zipper closed, felt like it was going to break a seam or the zipper so I returned it. The zipper on the Athletico bag also unzips about 2/3 down the length of the bag which makes it WAY easier to get your board in and out of it, whereas the High Sierra bag only opens on one end which makes it tough to use. Athletico bag has a split handle on both sides of the zipper with velcro grip to join them and also a shoulder strap. The High Sierra bag only has a handle (which is split in 2 but the bag doesn't open between the handle halves so it's pointless). Also, I use Flow bindings and I leave the ratchet straps set so I can't fold my bindings all the way flat without undoing them, and the Athletico bag fits it fine with the bindings mostly straight up.Boot bag: I feel like the Athletico boot bag is slightly smaller than the High Sierra one, but both fit my size 12 Thirty-two prime boots and my Bern helmet with room to spare. Athletico bag also comes with a shoulder strap for the boot bag, which the High Sierra does not. Athletico bag has a small mesh elastic pocket on the outside, where you could stick wet gloves or something, so that's a plus.Appearance: Athletico bags are blag with white zippers, whereas the High Sierra bags are all black. Minor difference but I like the contrast on the Athletico bags better.Protection: Like other reviewers have said, neither of these bags (either brand) have ANY padding, they are simply sleeves to keep your gear together and prevent casual scratches when tossed in your car. I expected this so I won't knock either for being thin, and I definitely do not plan to use these for checking on an airplane.Final thoughts: This Athletico bag combo is superior to the High Sierra bag combo in several ways, and I got it for cheaper. Athletico gets 4/5 stars for now, meaning it has met my expectations for the price. If I get 2 years light use out of these bags without them falling apart then it will warrant 5 stars. For reference I gave the High Sierra combo a 2/5 rating and returned it.

Although a ski bag - great for HEMA
Being from the sunny parts of South Africa I myself do not partake in skiing so can not comment on it's intended use, but can give a fair review based on what it is for me.As a participant in HEMA I have been scouting for a bag that will be able to carry my swords, but finding one long enough to carry a longsword was problematic as most carry bags are either over priced, short on stock or just simply too short. This snowboard bag was a great buy as it has more than enough space for them and my jacket, towel and change in clothes - which all now double as a convenient padding between the blades. The boot bag that came with it removes the need of my sluggish secondary bag as it is actually big enough to host my Head overlay with the mask in it next to my buckler and fitting my sparring mittens in the mask, makes this one purchase all I need for my gear. The boot bag also has a side pouch which fits my light sparring gloves, cleaning cloth, and water bottle. Both bags also have shoulder straps making them very convenient.I have not have the bag long enough to comment on durability, but it seems strong and well made having had pulled on the seams and zipped-up tracks for strength.I have given it full marks on all scores because - even though it is little more than a Robust canvas bag with handles, it is still 100% more than anything else on the market for that price and with the convenient Boot bag that comes with it the score gets pushed to 200% in my opinion.I can't comment on what it does for skiing, but this product seems to be tailor fit for HEMA.

Suprisingly Great bag for the price
I took a chance on this snowboard bag after reading a negative review and am glad I did. The negative review I read said the description is misleading, but I found this bag to be exactly as described. I have a 157cm board and it easily fits, and could probably fit a 165cm board a little snug. The bag seems to be pretty high quality material and was the cheapest bag I could find. I am an intermediate snowboarder who goes about 2-4 times a year and this bag is perfect for my needs. The bag is NOT padded but you can put clothes and other things in the bag to pad the board. I have managed to fit all my gear inside this bag (goggles, boots, helmet, jacket, snowpants, gloves, etc. )with still some room left over. If you put two boards inside the bag it may be tougher to fit extra stuff as padding, but i have not tried that yet.The foot bag is a nice additional thing for the price. It easily fits my mens size 11.5 boots, but now that i found the bag fits my boots as well, i use the boot bag for other purposes. Material for the boot bag is the same as the board bag.I have used these bags two times both in my own car and on a bus and have been very pleased with the bag both times. It may not be padded and protective enough for a plane unless you put clothes in the bag as well, but for my purposes this bag has been great. Can't wait to keep using it.

2for 1
Actually purchased this by accident, thought I’d put it in my basket to show my partner and I’d actually purchased it instead!!Anyways! It arrived really compact and thought I’d been mugged off but it unfolded into a nice sized boot and board bag!It feels a bit lightweight but I was impressed for the price! The boot bag holds both mine and my partners boots (both size 7) plus our warm stuff (gloves scarf etc) the board bag hold both our boards with bindings if you place them together, binding to binding, it’s pretty comfortable (boards are 155cm)All in all I got one cheap set that serves the two of us due to its generous size... perfect

Good for swords, too!
Bought this for a fencing bag (sports and HEMA). A dedicated fencing bag of similar volume would set you back in excess of 70 quid, so for a cheapskate like me this was ideal. On the downside, it could do with a few internal/external pockets for wires, spares, etc., but really can't complain for the price. Mask fits nicely in the boot bag, and with this snuggled into one end of the bag there's enough room for kit and a brace of your favourite pointy weapons.

Amazing!
Amazing combo. Lots of space in both bags. Two snowboards can fit inside snowboard bag, and in boot bag I managed to pack boots, helmet, two pair of goggles, two pair of gloves.

Lightweight, stable and comfortable. Both on the shoulder, and wallet!
Getting ready for next season I bought this bag for my boots and second board. I didn't wanna get another Burton bag for my second board as having 200+ dollars worth of bags seemed a little much for me, being 19.I got this bag for my older board as I thought it wasn't going to be as nice and maybe had a chance of damaging the new board. When the bag set came in, I tried my boots (size 10 men's) in the bag to see how that went first. they sit nice and snug and honestly I really like the way they sit inside. Not too much room, but not too little. They're comfortable to hold and after a water test, it takes holding the bag underwater for anything to get inside (I'm going to assume that the water got in near and around the zipper as it was streaking down on the inside of the bag).As for the snowboard bag, I put an older board inside of it and gave it my own homemade test. Taking it in and out of my car 20-30 times, shaking it, throwing it on my bed, and even dropping it in some thicker grass to simulate(to the best of my ability) snow. The bag, although thin, held up REALLY well. No damage is done to the board and no issues with the waxing job (had a fresh storage wax job done). The shoulder strap for the board bag is a bonus as I wore it for a good couple hours to see how the balance felt, along with the irritation it might cause on my shoulder. Board balanced nice, no swaying or rocking, and my shoulder felt completely fine after. For the price of this combo, you CAN'T go wrong! 39.99 CAD for both a durable snowboard bag AND a bag for your boots? 0 hesitation. This company is making quality products, at next to nothing costs. I've got a feeling they're going to be making a name for themselves!
