Tall and nice BUT warning!
Rated 5 stars! Absolutely confusing as heck to put together but when you figure it out itโs beautiful. Good price. Good deal. Works great. Please update the instructions. Edit-I went outside and the windmill was on the grown and two legs creased. It was attached to the ground with the pins provided but it creased at two of the legs. It fell so hard that even the blades bent. I have contacted the seller 4 times and no response yet. How do they expect you to undo all of the parts, box it back up and send the original back all BEFORE getting any help, refund or replacement? The legs definitely need to be stronger. You can literally bend them with your bare hands! How do I know? I tried to bend them back to see if it would still stand. They bent back like butter but failed to stay. I am in S TX and we have little to no wind but it fell anyway. Should be strong enough to hold up in little to no wind. If I get any response from the seller, Iโll update. Otherwise I changed to 1 star because this windmill is ridiculously weak and so is customer service. Edit-seller responded and placed windmill. Changed back to 5 stars!

Very satisfied
The instructions are very poor,I ended up reading other people's reviews that wrote how to assemble it,,thank you,I already had braces on it by the instructions that came with it and had to take them off and start over again..Someone else mentioned they got some lock washers,, so did I and I highly recommend to use them on every bolt and nut..also got some steel round bar and made 4 longer anchors to support the 4 legs..it survived wind gusts up to 40 mph last night.I got the green with yellow and the paint job is very good, goes with my John Deere mower,,over all very satisfied it looks great in the yard..

Great quality ... almost perfect
Inspected close, not yet inspected I purchased this with the intent of using it to power 12v lighting and charge an accompanying battery pack It is extremely well constructed with good quality steel and paint with the red accents being sprayed on with no form of primer leaving the red paint falling off (purely a cosmetic thing)

Love it
I like this windmill very much. Takes a little time assembling but is a great conversation piece and looks great up here on top of the mountain ! Also ... if you live in an area where you get strong winds... 15-30 mph or more , you definitely are going to need to anchor it to the ground in some fashion! I tried the steaks that are included and they are kind of a joke and worked half okay for about 1 day before they were pulled out of the ground and rendered useless. I live on top of a mountain where we get very strong winds sometimes and this thing will blow over if not anchored because remember, this is purely ornamental! It's not super heavy duty it's not extremely heavy the whole thing probably weighs 5 to 10 lb if that, so I used a ground rod cut into four pieces so they were approximately a foot to a foot and a half long and I pounded those into the ground at the base of the windmill and piled some larger rocks around each leg at the base. I have had 35 mph wind since I installed this and it stays perfectly still and the blade does spin extremely fast especially now that I have lubricated the blade bearings and where the blade drops into the top of the windmill I lubricated that very well so it will not rust over time and that allows it to really spin and completely quietly. For the price you can't beat this I have seen other similar windmills in local stores for $200 that aren't as nice as this... so for the price, for a very nice looking ornamental windmill you really can't go wrong.. !

LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!
Looks great! Spins and turns to catch the wind. The instructions are pretty worthless, because it's basically just diagrams. But if you layout all the parts and look at the picture on Amazon, it's not hard to figure out. Each of the 4 legs are made out of three pieces. You can quickly identify the bottom piece because it has a BIG hole in it that you use to stake it to the ground. The top piece has ONE small hole. The piece in the middle is the one left over. After you assemble the 4 legs, attach them to the piece that looks like a bell USING THE 4 SMALL WASHERS. The legs mount to the OUTSIDE of the bell-shaped piece. Next, the big square shaped piece goes over top and attaches to the four legs. When attaching, you MUST ALSO attached the long thin metal cross pieces. Next, attach the bottom of those long cross pieces together with the short horizontal pieces AND the lower long cross pieces to the 4 main legs (that means you're attaching three items to the main pole with each screw). Repeat with the bottom section. Screw the rudder piece to the remaining two arm pieces. Attach to the bell shaped top piece and put a pin (provided) under the bell to keep it from coming off. There are 2 LARGE WASHERS that go on each side of the propeller. Use the second pin (provided) to keep the propeller from coming off. It took this 55 year old woman an hour to assemble with a phillips screwdriver. EASY PEASY!

Love my new windmill. Installed in front yard with quick set cement in ice cream pails for feet and covered with mulch. (quite windy here) Put string of 200 lights (66 feet) from Amazon and looks really nice at night. (lots of colors to choose from) Don't forget to oil windmill rod. Not that hard to build, rather sketchy instructions, need 2 people about 1 1/2 hours.

This red windmill was under $50! Not sure why it was priced lower than the other colours but I absolutely love it. Looks great in the back yard.

We wanted this windmill for our back yard. Assembly instructions are not the best but common sense will let you assemble this in about an hour. It looks great spinning in the wind. It seems rather well made hopefully it will last but time will tell.
