Perfect fit! Good Quality!
The seal fit a bit snug. I used a few vice-grip pliers to attach it to the drum and stretch it overnight. The next day, I was able to glue the new seal to the drum with little effort. It is currently working very well! Update 9/14- You may want to try a different adhesive when purchasing this. My clothes are still coming out of the dryer smelling like rubber cement. Iโve tried vinegar treatment and Febreeze. Currently just doubling up on dryer sheets. Cement provided is holding well, but smell will not leave.

Perfect fit. Installation was a little tricky.
Be sure to watch a YouTube video for installation. The seal came with no instructions but there are plenty of videos online. We used 100% acetone nail polish remover to strip the old glue. This worked a lot faster than Goo-Gone or paint thinner. When installing I applied the glue 6โ at a time and used clothes pins to hold the seal in place as I worked my way around the drum.

Careful installing - but ended great
I didn't take a picture, but when you have the drum completely out, be sure to take a picture so you can reference how the old one was on. The glue that came with this is rancid, and will probably take you to the moon if you don't ventilate the area; that being said it worked great. For install, wire brush to sand down the old glue (for me there was like nothing because it was so old) but other seem to be chunky and need to be sanded down. CLAMPS! and patience. You really need at least 3 clamps, if not 7-8. You position and glue down this little by little. Which seemed wrong to me because it went on tight and seemed good. But you have to flap part of it on the lip of the drum, and just move your way around. Glue dries fast though. Watch youtube videos, and take pictures before. But for the price, its a no brainer, and after the install, it's been great.

Dryer works like new now!
Our dryer is about 14 years old and this is the first time we've replaced anything on it. The felt seal was a little tricky but easy to replace. Getting the dryer apart to get the drum out was the tricky part. (Highly recommend cleaning your dryer while its apart) The felt comes with glue and it's highly recommended to get rid of all old glue before applying new glue and felt. The best way to hold the felt in place while the glue is setting is with clothes pins! It takes 24 hours for the glue to fully set. Long story short, our dryer works great and we replaced the felt by ourselves! You can do it too!!

It fits and the glue was included
The most difficult part was stretching the last 6-7 inches over the drum. I used two pair of vise grips to hold the seal in place so I could pull it over the drum. THEN applied the adhesive to the seal. After glueing used about 40 clothes pins to hold the seal while the glue dried for a day. Works so far not as thick as the old seal.

Not everything's the best deal on Amazon
I was repairing probably a 35-year-old Kenmore dryer not a lot of info on it. Drum seals were worn. Amazon listed these as improved fits many models Whirlpool Kenmore Admiral. Pots arrived in a couple of days opened one up it was about 2 in too big. Package to back up found out they could not return It's a health safety issue. Ordered replacements from an appliance parts dealer. They shipped out OEM seals cost 35% more received in 2 days made in the USA and fit perfect runs like a champ now. Didn't know Amazon has some exclusions for returns I'll be more careful next time but no big deal.

Not OEM Quality
Not Quite OEM Quality, the product is compatible but I'm terms of the thickness/bulk of the felt component it falls considerably short when compared to the OEM part I removed. I suspect this will affect how well it actually seals and how quickly it wears.

Quick and easy repair
Dryer was putting rust stripes on light clothes and not doing a good job of drying. This seal solved the problem. There are very good videos on Youtube that provide a step-by-step guide for installing the seal. They provide good tips for putting the glue on the drum (lay the drum on its' side and roll it as you squeeze on the glue) and making sure the correct side of the seal faces the inside of the drum. This dryer is almost 20 years old and now works like new.

Not the same quality as the original but does the job for now but won't last as long I suspect. For the glue part, better put some gloves on cause it can be a bit messy and tape the gasket with masking tape to hold it as you go along till it's dry. Have fun !!
