A really enjoyable new challenge - and it bounces.
Having bought a pair of the marginally smaller H823H Plus models for my then 6 and 9 year old grand children, it was inevitable that I would soon try something simillar. As an old geezer, I am really enjoying the challenge of flying around the light fittings, furniture and hi-fi speakers while relaxing on my settee. Luckily it bounces harmlessly when I get it wrong.Reaction to the controls is very differs from my previous experience, that of flying a 2.5m slope soarer from Butser Hill, and at the moment I am finding the drone to be much more of a challenge than the glider was.My choice is to not ever use the headless mode, but rather to fly it with a definite front and back, and regain that feeling of flying with the model while observing from afar. It does mean that I use up the batteries' charge more quickly, but for me it is worth it, and Snaptain have been really helpful in obtaining extra batteries for me.For flying indoors, I am really grateful that the up/down control is actually a 'target height' adjuster, and that it is the drone's electronics which control the power sent to the motors to move to that new height. I don't think I could manage to fly indoors without that assistance. What is really worth doing is memorising the trim buttons' positions. The batteries all sit slightly differently, and their different effects on the centre of gravity mean that re-trimming for a stationary hover is necessary most flights. Note also that both pairs trim the movement controlled by the right stick - the left pair backwards and forwards, and the right trim left and right. Not a problem outdoors I would imagine, but in the confines of a living room it makes a big difference. An alternative is to trim for forward flight, when it is more like flying a tiny radio controlled glider, the left stick mimicking the rudder, while the right acts as ailerons banking into the turn or sliding out of it, and a forward push being like using the elevators to dive and temporarily gain speed. It just doesn't stall when the nose is pulled up.Almost as challenging for me as flying was my early attempts at inserting and removing the batteries, but I have now learned to position the plugs so that a nail can push them in, while a pair of 115mm round nosed jewellery pliers is perfect for pulling them out again - see the photo. So much fun for so little expenditure - and it's lock-down friendly!

Amazing fun!
I bought this to replace a micro drone from another manufacturer. It simply didn't work properly, and went back to Amazon today. This is a different kettle of fish: this one works; and it works very well indeed. Smaller than it looks from the pictures here, and weighing less than a feather, it has remarkable abilities. It seems to be very well made, with tiny batteries and a tiny battery compartment. Arrives with three batteries, 7 minutes each. Accompanied by a solid little controller, which takes a pair of AAAs.Get a couple of batteries charging as soon as you unbox it, and half an hour or so later you'll be aloft. Possibly not for very long. Don't think that this is a breeze to fly; you're going to need patience to learn what these tiny things can do, and indeed what YOU can do with those solid-feeling little joysticks. Setup is crucial. First bind the craft and the controller so they talk to each properly, then there's another gyro calibration step. Two seconds and you're done. Hit takeoff, and up she goes. Bounce off the wall, crash, hit takeoff, and up she goes again. You just won't be able to damage it.It's important to observe it. Does it stay in place if you touch nothing on the controller? Probably not, so use those four trim buttons to tune it in. It's well worth taking the time, otherwise it'll be heading north west when you wanted north. Patience pays off.It can do a 360 flip in any of 4 directions, and has 3 speeds. Stay on slow until you know what you're doing, then try medium and ... look out granny! It can sense air pressure and maintain its height quite nicely, but be aware that if you speed out to the dining room it will lose height, so that needs to be watched. Those tiny engines can only do so much.Look, if my 4 year old grandson can avoid the fish tank and the lights, then so can you! At this price you can't go wrong.

A good beginner's indoor drone
Pros:1. Light weight and small size.2. Easy to manoeuvre even for first-time users.3. It offers a good selection of more "advanced" options such as flipping.4. The kit comes with three batteries, which saves time/money in ordering more.Cons:1. Difficult to insert or remove battery. The battery wires and the interface look quite flimsy.2. Two LEDs both at front and back are unnecessarily too bright.

Small drone for fun at home
Drone is small about palm size. Perfect for playing inside. Our kid loves to chase is and bring it back when it lands. Easy to understand manual and if you never flew a drone before its good one to start with. Loads of functions - all work well, drone reacts immediately to the remote. Also you will get repairing kit, but not sure if you ever will need it, drone feels sturdy and handles obstacles well. Great to keep your kids occupied in isolation or taking a short break from working from home. 3 batteries included which gives u about 21 mins of fun. Charger allows to charge 2 batteries at one time and has led light to tell when its charged. All 3 family members love it.

It's a nippy little thing 😊
This is an amazing little drone. it fits into the palm of your hand but don't be fooled by its size it is a powerful little thing. The controls are very easy to manage and the drone responds well. The batteries are a little awkward to get into the drone but you soon get the hang of it. It comes with three batteries so you can have a total of 21 minutes flying time which is great and it has extra guards Incase you damage the originals. I have also had a great response from the seller so if you have any issues They will be sorted out. I recommend this product 100% you will have a lot of fun. Good value for money
