ZIWI Peak Provenance Canned Wet Dog Food – All Natural, High Protein, Grain Free with Superfoods (East Cape, Case of 12, 6oz Cans)

Our 12 yr old bichon has found his“ holy grail “We rescued our baby 4 years ago. He had skin that was full of sores and scabs .The only food he had eaten was a cheap dry kibble and he was obviously allergic to something.I read all I could about animal nutrition and eventually discovered Ziwi .I must say this brand is fantastic.We started with the dehydrated lamb jerky type and he went wild.This was a dog who previously was very uninterested in food. Eating was a struggle.I was having to buy toppers and not even that was accepted by him.We used the dry lamb dehydrated Ziwi for a few months , until I saw the Otago had been added to the brand. I liked the ingredients so I bought that to try .. oh yes !!We had a definite winnerHe needs some deep gum work done and the vet suggested wet foodI checked and thank goodness the Otago offered a wet versionI bought this and he likes this even more ( if that’s possible ;))I serve it on a napkin and I have to be very careful to remove it because he will eat the napkin , too. He absolutely loves this !!! ( see the picture ;)It’s not expensive because this is all he eats and a can gives us 3 servings ..He’s 12 lbs and has a serving a day , so the case of 12 lasts us a month.If he gets hungry later , I give him a bit of the Ziwi dehydrated and he thinks he’s getting a treat !I really can’t recommend any food higher and I have tried them all. ..His skin and hair is perfect !Just buy this !!

I feed my pets a raw diet based on the b.a.r.f guidelines and whole prey model.When I have to take my dog to boarding or am in a pinch I feed them ziwi. They use whole prey ingredients that I trust. I have a problem sometimes getting my cats to eat certain types and I wish that the dog food would come in larger cans.I use their air dried food for training and to fill my dogs interactive toys with.This is the best of thus type of food on the market. If you need something comparable to raw feeding this is it.

I gave my dog ziwi can once a week as a treat. my dog normally can be patient and calm when its dinner time, but whenever she hears me opening the can, she cannot hide her excitement. tail goes crazy, left right swirling lolno diarrhea or discomfort. loving this high quality food.

Packed full of nutrients and healthy ingredients. My 20 year old cat absolutely loves it.

I thought this food would be great for my puppy. It was a great portion size and the ingredients seemed perfect. I am not sure if the food was bad, or if it was contaminated somehow, because my baby was extremely sick after eating the food. She threw up and had diarrhea terribly. She was so weak and she slept a lot. I was so worried about her. Thank God she was alright when she got that food out of her system. I don’t know if this happened to others, or if I just got a bad batch, but I recommend keeping an eye on your puppy/dog when they are eating this food. I thank God that my baby is alright now.

I WISH my dogs would give this a chance. They recoiled from it. Maybe it’s too exotic for these American dogs. Will donate the rest and hope someone loves it.

Horrible! I usually feed my pet raw, and good quality kibble brands like Orijen, Acana, Instincts, Faminna, unfortunately this brand made my dog vomit so bad, i couldn’t stand the smell too.
