Wake 25.4 Stem 32mm 60mm Bike Stem Mountain Bike Stem Short Handlebar Stem for Most Bicycle, Road Bike, MTB, BMX, Fixie Gear, Cycling (Aluminum Alloy, Black)

I used this stem to move my handlebars back closer so I don't have to put as much pressure on my hands and wrists. This makes my bike much more comfortable and allows a more upright riding position. At my stage of life I need that more than aerodynamic advantage. The stem is made well, fits as it should, and tightens securely. It also looks good (for those of you who still need that advantage).

Hasn’t broken off so that’s a great start to a review especially since my dad borrows it too. I can absolutely see how these don’t give you much lee way when it comes to over tightening them. Not suggesting that you don’t toque them to proper specs, but if you try to “feel it out” be careful if you ate spinach before. They use very soft metal. It’s mounted to a 29er hard tail that is used weekly and it hasn’t warped or lost the ability to safely secure the handlebars from moving. I’m slowly gaining a full piece of mind while riding it. A little paranoid at first from the few who said it just fell apart worse than Charlie Scheen.

I got the 60mm length version. This replaced my stock 90mm stem on my Giant Talon.Pros: Light, 4-bolt design, seems strong, easy to install, good looking(from a distance), graphics are decent.Cons: Mine has a very small "booger" on the top surface, just outside where the stem cap goes. It doesn't affect the function at all. Did not come with any torque specs.Overall for the money this is an awesome stem. Time will tell how it holds up but I am satisfied right now.

Gave away my MT bike and promised that I would change out the neck to better fit the person. Stopped at a local bike shop at and they wanted way too much. I like to help support local businesses up to a point but they don't need to make such a killing on some items. I am very satisfied with the price and the quality of this one.

How can they sell these at such a cheap price? Fit my schwinn taff 29er perfectly. The factory one was about 2" long and made wrists hurt from too much pressure. This moved my bars back a good amount and made it much more comfortable. Used loctite on the bolts and didn't run into any issues. Solid piece that I have no worries will last longer than the bike. Only negative would be they don't ship with any torque specs for screws. Would definitely buy again.

6061 t6 aluminum is a solid material. The part looks good, and functions well. Great value for the money. Fits perfect on my 1998 trek 950 singletrack

Very inexpensive stem that does the job. Fit and finish is not the greatest but that's really to be expected at this very low price. Machined "V" design on the side is the worst looking part, very sloppy but at the same time, not really noticeable from a distance. Weighed it for the heck of it and actually weighed 141g instead of the stated 160g so that's nice also

This is awesome super cheap $ money wise, and super durable for moderate riding not a trail rider so I can’t say for that otherwise awesome fit great and all hardware was well manufactured. Also where the bar gets attached it has little lines to help keep them in place.
