Fit and worked perfect
One of the 2 main parts provided in the kit, replaced my original part with no wiring modifications on my Amana/Maytag refrigerator.Have to know which one fits the size of your unit.In my case 25 cubic foot was the higher numbered part [S2188830] that I understand sometimes is designated with an orange dot versus the lower numbered part [S2188829] sometimes with a black dot for smaller size refrigerator.I am NOT a professional...am just very fortunate to have a brother in law to advise me on the above.Hope this helps! :))

Not a direct replacement for Original Part
The part as ordered is not a direct replacement for the original, the wiring of original part would not fit the replacemnt part as it required a plug in harness.
