Bjork: Medulla (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

I love it. I have been looking for the colored vinyl for a while now. Turn Table Lab has really great collections of colored Björk vinyls. After I bought Medulla, I also purchased Vulnicura directly from the Turn Table Lab website. (Amazon handles all their shipments). And I'm more than satisfied.

Absolutely perfect!

This is a 45 RPM double 12" set, which is odd to me. The LPs are not cut all the way to the middle either, resulting in two or three songs per side. It's rather hard to get immersed in the album needing to flip at that rate. The vinyl itself if rather thin as well, like some of my cheaper records from the 70s.I've attached photos of the inefficient use of space on these LPs, as well as a thickness comparison to 180g white vinyl. This weighs 55g less!I would still recommend you buy the album musically-speaking, just know all of the above to be less surprised than I was.

Of all the limited edition colored vinyls, I'd say that Medulla and Vespertine is the best in quality, sound, art work, and beauty. These albums are already amazing in their own right, but on LP, it's transformed into something out of this world. I LOVE the color for Medulla. It looks prettier in person than it does on the image here. If you love the album, you'll love it even more on vinyl.

A beautiful pressing of a beautiful album. However, customers should note that for some reason, "Desired Constellation" is listed as the fourth track on Side B - it is actually the first track on Side C.

I love Bjork's music. This DVD is just too short.

Best album other than Vespertine from Bjork! Only 4 stars because my vinyl from Amazon was missing a song completely!

"Medulla" ist vielleicht nicht das beste, aber sicher eines der faszinierensten Alben von Björk. Auf dieser DVD hat man zum einen alle Video-Clips, die sehr lohnenswert sind (wie eigendlich alle Clips von Björk), auf der zweiten DVD ist aber das zu sehen, was sich so richtig lohnt. In einer Dokumentation wird über die Produktion dieses fast ausschließlich mit der Stimme hergestellten Albums berichtet. Es ist wirklich atemberaubend, wie virtuos die Musiker mit ihrer Stimme umgehen können. Wo man beim Hören der CD noch vermutet, das alles gesamplet und in Pattern programmiert wurde, sieht man hier, wieviel davon wirklich life erstellt und nur mit Verzerrern und Hallräumen leicht verfremdet wurde.Wer Björks Werk in seiner Gänze liebt sollte das sich auf jeden Fall anschauen!

I just received this yesterday and was a bit nervous that it might not play in region 1 players, as it is coming from the UK and has not been released in the USA (I'm referring to the DVD-Audio version with documentary). I am pleased to report that the disc is in both PAL and NTSC and appears to be region-free! I have watched/listened to it and have had no problems at all. I just thought I would mention this since I looked everywhere for this info and could not find it. Enjoy Bjork's amazing latest work!

nice sounds, typically Bjork, if there is such a thing. interesting documentary about a singer who inspires a great deal amongst her fans, not all of it good.The dvd was as advertised in excellent condition

I can play this documentary over and over and it's still interesting! I'm a huge Björk fan, so this is a must have!
