5 CuFt Wheelbarrow Style Electric Cement Mixer

This is a very practical and handy portable concrete or mortar mixer. It is well designed and functional. It is very useful for people working on small projects for which smaller amounts of concrete are needed--less than a cubic yard. It is also handy for mixing mortar for smaller masonry jobs. The single significant drawback of this product was that the assembly directions supplied were almost completely useless to me. They were very hard to follow. I gave up trying to use them and just began to put the pieces supplied together like a puzzle. That worked all right for me, but I can imagine some less mechanically inclined people having significant difficult assembling this mixer. Some enterprising English speaker ought to offer to prepare clear, useful assembly instructions for this seller/product.

The reason I purchased this product was the reviews that I read before buying the product. The reviews specifically stated, double boxed. Great item, etc.Well guys, as you know there's that one order you don't expect that gives you the ultimate headache! The item arrived in a timely manner, BUT the boxed wheel barrel cement mixer looked like it had been through a war zone. You couldn't help but to derive at the ultimate conclusion, it had been in a previous order and it showed when I saw the condition of the flimsy box taped many times around at the top third of the box.It was dented and actually crushed on one side with the louvered affect (many holes) on what could be seen from the rear of the UPS delivery truck. The flimsy packed, 1 box (not two boxes) was so badly full of holes that the driver said I can't move it because it won't hold together, and once I place it on the ground the guts will fall out if it gets that far.The driver by federal law can't let you on his vehicle to examine anything. so there was no recourse but to have UPS return the item to the DCMM Storefront.I've never encountered such behavior from anyone either through Amazon or any store I've done business with on a personal level. Because I couldn't examine the product this merchant threatened me by email, which I and Amazon can attest to because they have the ability to read your emails and the sellers emails.If it were not for Amazons a-z guarantee protection program I would have been minus $187. 00 returned to me. The seller only returned $204.00 of my funds and kept the rest. I spent $391.00 which included shipping and the merchant decided by email he was going to fight me, his words.So as with any transaction, be very careful who you deal with. I couldn't give less then one star.This seller was so hopped up on aggression instead of resolving a bad situation. As J. Stossel kindly places the wording "Shame On You"!

Assembly instructions were a bit lacking, but assembly was straight forward. I noticed during assembly that the T- Handle bolt bottomed out on the threads and so I added 3 fender washers. It is a sturdy unit and the barrel can be detached easily for cleaning and transporting. First job with it, I made a sidewalk and stairs using 48 bags of ready-mix cement, mixing (2) 80# bags at a time and going from stop to finish and it worked flawlessly. Low center of gravity close to the wheels makes it easy to pour cement where you want it. Agitates the material completely and great for home projects. Compared to hand mixing, this unit earned its worth after the first 10 or 12 bags of ready mix. The shipping box has plenty of padding and mine was shipped to me in a double box, which gave it great protection. It cost $50 dollars a day to rent one, you are limited to the rental agencies hours and so it is a great value for the money. 5 CuFt Wheelbarrow Style Electric Cement Mixer
