Perfect fit for 2012 c300
Dealer wanted $600+ to fix. This $36 item was a perfect fit and easy to install after reading the reviews on the best way to do it.

Perfect fit, looks good as new and works great
Perfect fit for my 2014 C250 coupe. After studying the photos carefully and reading other reviews I was able to install the 3 pieces properly. A simple instruction sheet would help, telling you which order to place each part and a basic orientation image so that you take your time and do it properly. If you try to install all 3 pieces at once it's not going to go smoothly. It was a little pricey but now that it's installed and works properly plus looks like new, I have no complaints.

Fits GLK 350
THIS is the one for the GLK350. There are some advertised as being so...but are actually for the S series. To Install: Black "spider" snaps onto the squarish button on the ceiling. First the two small tabs toward the windshield slide into grooves to a shallow recess in the button, then the two hooks snap over the horizontal round bars toward the rear. If it is correct, the spider will be firmly in place. Now install the painted cover. place it horizontal with the finger opening toward the rear of the car. Push the windshield end up firmly, snap, then push the rear end up firmly, snap, then pinch the black finger depression into the painted cover to make sure it is fully snapped in. Push firmly up again all around the button to make sure all six snaps are tight. done!Downside: Beige is not a color match (slightly darker) but it really isn't too noticeable....and it certainly beats several hundred dollars repair at a dealer. Glad I found this one!

Quick fix & money saver!!!!
Way cheaper than spending $600+ at the dealer for the whole assembly! It's easy to install! All you have to do is clip on the little black piece that fits under the button first. (It's easier this way to avoid breaking it again, trust me!) Then clip the button on to that little black piece and Voila! Simple as that. The only complaint I have is that the beige one is slightly darker than original OEM one, and the inside of the button is black and not beige like the rest of the button. Other than that it works fine and I highly recommend this product over going to the Mercedes dealership!

Perfect fit for 2012 C300
My wife loves her sunroof in her 2012 C300. She opens and closes it daily. Well, after 9 years, one of the little plastic hooks behind the button broke. Mercedes wanted to charge her $500+Labor to replace the entire unit. What! She scheduled an appointment to have the unit replaced in a week. I told her I'll go online and will find a button to fix it, but I have only a week to convince her I can do it. Well, this button fitted perfectly. Took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to install it. The trick is to hook the inner piece (spider) onto the sunroof switch, then line-up the two posts on the button (cover) to the spider. Make sure they are line-up, then push up (mainly towards the front of the button) until you hear a snap. It did take some force, and I was afraid I might break the button, but once the button snaps, it is secure and the button feels and operates like the original. Perfect.I know the button seems expensive compare to other ones available on ebay, but they are shipped from China and I did not have time to wait for it. I got this button in 2 days after ordering. Wife is happy. Life is good again.

Not a Replacement
Did not fit, broke apart during installation attempt.

I’m sure it works…but just not on mine
So when I order anything…like most people, I type the make and model of the vehicle…and then the description. Well, since I don’t like to throw away money I match up the part and vehicle…. Long story short….I ordered the wrong thing. Either I made a mistake or the description was wrong or they sent the wrong piece. Either way I’m not happy. It does not fit a 2017 Mercedes GLS 450!

Works just like the original
So far so good. Easy install and seems to be of good quality. Time will tell.

You have to futz around with it ... but it works
So, there is a loose clear plastic piece underneath the "spider" bracket that clips onto the switch cover. You can install the cover without the loose clear plastic piece. To install you have to make sure you hear two clicks. On the actual switch, there is a post with a built in light that is located on the back of the cavity and that controls the glass slide to open. Then there's a vertical clip that is located in the front of the cavity and that's where you have to push up the bracket to click into the clip. That vertical clip is what you pull down on the switch cover to close the glass slide. Then you have to push on the back of the cover that fits over the post (light) and you will hear the second click. Once you hear it, the entire switch cover will sit inside the cavity and will be flush with the overhead panel trim. Remember; two clicks, front clip and back post.
