Poorly made reclining mechanism and now the rear support piece has snapped in two
I purchased this chair in 2015. It was immediately the most comfortable chair I've ever owned, but after only 4 months the springs (very spartan mechanism, for a $4000 chair) of the reclining mechanism came loose. In another month, the screws/bolts that attach the base of the seat to the metal pedastal worked themselves free, catastophically failing. I managed to reassemble the chair (no permanent damage, except to my piece of mind). The final straw happened this evening, when the plastic support rib on the back of the chair (this is a support piece, connects to the base of the chair) snapped in half. I now have a $4000 boat anchor, and no chair in which to sit. I am extremely angry. You definitely DON'T get what you pay for with this hunk of junk.

I can only say I am glad I didn't buy a stressless
I can only say I am glad I didn't buy a stressless. This chair is so much nicer. It is a far superior product in every way.

Lovely chair but the mechanics broke after a year and ...
Lovely chair but the mechanics broke after a year and two months, It also took six months to find out the problem. I had to pay for bolts that were not fully screwed in and had dropped inside the chair making the chair tilt and make strange noises. They would pay for a manufacturing defect since it was two months over the warranty period. Company is not interested in quality or customer service. NC parts department blames overseas and does not answer email AND will not accept phone calls.

Modern Recliner
I love my two re-vive chairs but was surprised at not being able to find repair instructions once the internal mechanism—a pivot arm bolt—came loose and fell onto the floor. Nevertheless, it was relatively easy to take the chair apart to reinstall/tighten the bolt and add an additional spring for support—surprisingly, the chair came with only one spring. Now the chair works like a charm. We even serviced the other one and found the bolt in that was loose too.

We bought 2 but one stoped reclining, we opened it up and managed to get it working but we broke the cover plate from the bottom.Emailed Natuzzi several times hoping to get a replacement sent but they never respond. If anyone knows how we can get in touch with natuzzi please post it in a review. Thanks

DO NOT BUY NATUZZI PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY NOT THE REVIVE CHAIR
I purchased the revive chair, queen, the highest level of the chair available. The reclining mechanism broke within a year, and the company charged me $275 plus $75 for shipping. I was told that this was a well-designed and constructed chair. it is neither. It is a comfortable chair, no doubt, but if a company charges over $4000 for a chair, and it breaks after a little over a year, they should just ship the part and not screw with their customers.

A Very Comfortable And Stylish Recliner
We ordered this leather recliner and ottoman in the ivory color. The coloring is perfect, and the quality of the leather is excellent. It's very soft and supple, and feels great against your skin. The recliner's padding also feels great. It's very soft and cushy, but at the same time it's also very supportive. They got the softness to supportiveness ratio just right with this recliner. The base of the recliner and ottoman are made of steel, and have a brushed stainless, low gloss finish. This recliner has no levers or buttons for taking you from the upright to the reclining position. You simply move how you want to move, and the recliner moves with you. The recliner's movement mechanisms are very fluid and natural. This is certainly one of the greatest/coolest things about this recliner. Natuzzi clearly spent a great deal of time working on the mechanics of this recliner, and it was time well spent in our opinion. We've had this recliner for a little over a month now, and everyone who has sat on it thinks it's pretty terrific. And I do, too. It's unlike any recliner we've ever seen or sat on before. It's very comfortable, very stylish, and seems to be very well made, too. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this recliner. I recommend this recliner highly. We love it.If you have any questions about this recliner, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

Great chair, terrible engineering
Exact same experience as the other two star reviews here. The chair just broke—first a spring fell out somehow then made a rattling noise and tilted badly to the side. This was all during normal use.My wife and I turned the thing over and popped off the back panel on the underside. (It’s during the virus so we’re certain not to see any repairmen anytime soon). There we found that a spring was missing and two bolts had fallen out. A little McGyver work and the chair is fixed. We noticed that all of the bolts that were in there still were very loose, as well.A four thousand dollar chair made with nice materials and a cheap, poorly assembled mechanism means two stars being generous. I doubt I’ll buy this brand again.
