I love everything about these cups. Lightweight, volume, handle, design. This is the perfect coffee cup. I had a set with flowers for years so I purchased this bird set to go with them. I am glad I did, they are my favorite.

I can't get over how pretty these are. They are very light and easy to sip from. You'd think that wouldnt be a problem, but with those regular mugs, coffee/tea tends to drip down on the outside. I guess it's the way the lip of these mugs is fluted.

The bird images on the cups are beautifully designed and the porcelain is indeed top quality

Lenox remade their original design by brightening the birds, flowers, and butterflies in this bird edition of the Butterfly Meadows series. The illustrations are no longer "fuzzy", as some people previously experienced. However, only one bread plate has a bird, and none of the bowls do. All of the dinner plates do. They all work together as a beautiful set, anyway, and work with the previous versions of the Butterfly Meadows series, so all together, I am very happy with this set.
