So far, totally adequate for correcting Violin peg holes
Tried it so far on two of my violins, and the taper angle was perfect for both. Cuts well on the wood

Good Value
I used this tool to ream Ukulele tuning machine holes in the peghead. I drilled out the backside of the peghead with a drill for the correct size and then reamed the front of the peghead to size. I installed Gotoh Planetary 4:1 gears for the front and back of the gear is a different size which is what I would expect. This reamer worked perfectly for the job, it reamed smoothly and cut the wood quite easily.

Works Exactly as Advertised
I purchased this reamer to install end pins on two acoustic guitars I recently built. The pins have a 1:30 taper and the tapered hole left by this reamer mated up perfectly for a snug fit on both of them. Similar reamers from luthier supply companies go for twice the price, so this was a really good value.

Incorrect taper
The taper on this reamer is 1:26, not 1:30 as advertised. It's stamped "1:26", and I measured it to 1:26 with a caliper.

A neccessary tool for violin work
Good price compared to 'professional' tools and works just as well. I use it to size peg holes in violins for fitting new pegs.

Very helpful for installing planetary tuners on my uku
The planetary tuners I bought (Gotoh) for my ukulele need a 10 mm hole, slightly larger than the one for the existing worm-gear tuners. This reamer worked extremely well, cutting faster than I expected, and leaving nice clean, smooth holes. I may only need this tool a couple times in my lifetime, but it's a keeper!
