Just planted so can’t give 5 star as won’t know for a while if they all come up and flower

On first impressions was disappointing by size of bulbs However display of flowers proved me wrong

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these as a venture for my planters and garden I am truly in love with these dahlias. I've put some pompoms in a large planter , the rest in the garden with a mix of my collarettes.I'm a first time dahlia grower so no experience here , easy to grow and look after with a bit of research, reading and patience.Our Buzzy Bee friends love them so I spend ages watching them forageUnfortunately so do slugs when they start to sprout from the ground , you need to be vigilant and start slug watch ,slug killing from the time you see your first shoots.Also aphids love them too , black horrible little beasties.

I was very disappointed as, although the plants are healthy, every single bloom is white when they are supposed to be mixed colours.

They didn't look that good but put them in some nice pots and they are growing well
