No cord
Nice design as the hub can be rotated based on laptop position. No cords are needed.

Not good
Unable to charge iPhone and Nokia using it. Also return policy is not there. Don't buy this one.

Great in concept but did not last long
I got this because the Surface laptop in all its glory has just ONE USB port. Completely pointless! This gives me 3 and also gives me the option of keeping certain devices plugged into it like receivers but I can still move the entire thing to another laptop/pc without unplugging them.Worked well initially but then the bluetooth usb rec plugged into it for my headset started getting choppy.I put this into the docking station connected to the second usb port and this seemed to fix it - maybe the splitter did not give enough power to it?But then the keyboard/mouse got choppy...again moving the receiver to the docking station fixed it but then what was the point of this device if everything went to the dock.In the end I chucked it away as it was causing too much grief - if it works I think it is great especially the fact it can swing either direction but when it does not...its a headache

WARNING: DO NOT USE WITH A USB EXTERNAL DRIVE OR IF YOU USE WIRELESS DEVICES
I bought this and thought it was initially great and then realized it was interfering with my wireless mouse creating a lag response time. I was running an external drive from it that crashed 4 months later forcing me to go spend 80 quid on software to access the drive to get the data back from it. If you want to run an external drive from a USB hub you need to get a Powered USB Hub that provides the needed extra power for the drive. I ended up shoving this item in the draw. Simply not worth the trouble using it.

Works with tesla model 3 2022
Bought to expand the model 3 2022 data port in the glove box. Works with Tesla cam thumb drives and game controllers.

Worked, momentarily!
Worked but only for a few moments! Intended use was to extend my cars USB facilities, it worked for a few minutes then stopped, no idea why. In fact it was as if it over powered the USB itself in the car as it stopped altogether. It works absolutely fine as a PC USB hub, no issues there, just not for what I wanted it for. If it helps it was bought for a 2019 registered Toyota CH-R.

Not brilliant
There is no support under the body, so it is tricky pushing memory sticks in without the plug tilting out of its socket. This makes it a two-hand job. Also, mine would not accept more than one stick with protection on it. I can only use multiple sticks that have no protection. I am surprised therefore that it is recommended by ComputerActive.
