I've been using these for about three months now and am pleased with them. Per my trainer's suggestion, I use them three times a day to treat foot pain. It's not the most critical part of my overall program, but it's definitely helpful.The balls are as advertised in terms of color, size, and relative softness. They're soft enough that I can squash them under my feet but they still roll, even with significant pressure. The balls still look and feel the same as the day I bought them, so I think they're going to hold up for a long time. Also, I've used other OPTP products before and they've all been very durable and worked well, so that give me confidence that these will prove to be just as good.

I use these small balls to exercise and to help line up my toes.

I ordered this item - they were shown with the book The Melt Method and the OPTP Roller and OPTP Maxi & Mini Balls. I received the Melt Method book but the roller and balls arrived they were not representative of The Melt Method. The roller and balls are quite different. One not familiar with The Melt Method like myself I felt was tricked into thinking it the was the total package. This is the first time I have felt I was misled by Amazon. From now on I will pay attention to those items I am buying on Amazon and other things offered "I might be interested in". The roller is not the same nor the balls are the same as those offered in The Melt Method. To get the book and wait for the roller and balls to hopefully relieve the chronic pain I have was beyond disappointment. When I received the balls they were two of the same size. So I ordered the Mini Balls and have not received them yet. I don't know if they are the same softness as the Maxi Balls - if they are I will return them because because the balls do not offer any relief to my feet at all. They are too soft. I reserve judgement on the roller - the diameter of the roller is not the same size as The Melt Method roller nor construction when I did research on The Melt Method website. This ball is wonderful for releasing the fascia at the bottoms of he feet and hands. It's similar to the MELT ball but it's texture is different. I find that in terms of performance, the texture doesn't matter. I use these small balls in my Pilates studio and I give one to each of my clients. They are inexpensive enough that I can just give them away and my clients absolutely love them.Along with fascia, are also muscles and tendons at the bottoms of your feet and hands and you can step on those to help release them. You will also want to mobilize your joints by pressing down into the ball into your various joints. There are loads of YouTube videos out there that will show you how to use the small ball on your feet and hands but look up melt for feet and melt for hands for best way to use this ball.

I thought these balls would be a bit firmer than they are but they still work.
