Perhaps mine was defective, but it never expanded to the proper size/ shape. It comes squished in a bag with instructions to open it and let it sit for 12 hours and it will be good as new. I have had mine for 3-4 days and that is not the case. One side of it is squished so that instead of being at this angle \_ so you can angle your tablet to you it is actually angled like this / _ so that it would just fall forward off the small lip.Even if that wasn't the case, though, it is certainly not sturdy enough to hold up a tablet. Especially when the tablet is in portrait view.My mother bought a similar pillow from CVS for $20 and it is fantastic. When she went back to get one for me for my birthday they weren't there. I found this one and for more money it was WAY WORSE quality. 100% do not even attempt to purchase this.

I have been looking for a tablet stand and this seemed to suit at a great price. It is fabric over foam. The fabrics is too loose. The shelf for the tablet is too small. Both of them. The foam is soft and the tablet slides right off. Not worth the money.

Horrible got it for a gift and I wouldn’t give it to anyone. Waited over a month to get it. Poor buy🙁

So this thing is great. I'll admit I was a little weary, looking at some of the other reviews and reviewer photos.It did come vacuum sealed and looked pretty sad immediately after opening it. Pretty much like the photos posted by other reviewers. However, as expected with foam products that have been vacuum sealed, it inflated within a few minutes of opening it, and quickly took shape and functions exactly as expected/advertised.I probably could have gotten a photo of it like the other reviewers, but I didn't have my phone ready with the camera app open in order to take a picture of it 0.5 seconds after pulling it out of the vacuum sealed bag.If you're looking for a nice little stand for your phone or tablet while reclining, and don't expect to use it within seconds of it arriving, this is the stand for you. Patience is a virtue.

Very well made and reasonably priced. My wife uses this in the recliner, in the bed and on the side table for her Kindle Fire. This is a KEEPER!

Lip not wide enough to keep tablet upright. Unstable, falls forward and the side pocket is not big enough for an average phone or decent size remote.

Took awhile to get here but arrived finally & in good shape. It's a little smaller than one I bought locally ( same brand), but still like it.

This was flimsy and the iPad wouldn’t stay on the stand well. With it on your lap it was in a weird position with you having to look down on it. Not for me, I returned it.
