Purchased for a summer class and I needed exactly 14 canvas boards of this size (9x12). I was super happy to find this pack because I was worried about the total being overpriced if I couldn’t find them in a pack. This pack was well priced and definitely worth it. They arrived individually wrapped and then wrapped again with the Arteza info and in a box their size. So far I love them, and I’m not the biggest fan of canvas board. These work perfectly for what I need and work well for me gessoed. They’re sturdy and have a nice texture to them. Everything I’ve bought from Arteza in the past has been great and these are too! I’d buy canvases from them again.

These are a very nice quality canvas board. They have a nice, substantial heft to them. I’m excited to paint on these!

I love these canvas and paint on them weekly. I order them on both Amazon and the actual Arteza Site. I have had no problems with warping even with storage in a tote. I do wrap them in parchment paper and store in my house. When you paint on a smaller (5x7) cotton canvas you will have texture and a coat of gesso helps but isn't necessary. Sometimes there are little marks in the corners that are probably from machine packaging. Gesso helps with these also. I did try linen 5 x 7 canvases but the are quite expensive and while better did not really seem needed with my simple whimsical subjects. Great canvases. I will keep buying.

There are pros and cons to these canvas boards...PROS: They are very affordable. They are individually wrapped so they stay clean. They are pretty consistent in sizing.CONS: They warp when completely painted. They have a hideous label on the back of every board. They cannot handle being scrubbed for reuse (the canvas actually pulls off the board).That being said, these are pretty great for crafters, children’s art, beginners or practicing new techniques. I’m happy enough with this purchase and probably would buy again.

I love these for my beginners! I have an art studio, and I offer free classes to children with emotional challenges that do not do well in traditional therapy. I needed a cost effective means to provide canvas type art exercises, and these boards helped provide that at a fraction of the price of traditional canvases. They cure well and when gessoed, handle a large volume of paint well. However, if not primed properly, they will buckle with alit of moisture. I don't think they work well with any type of pour painting, and a couple of times, the canvas lifted from the cardboard backing as the paintings cured. Definitely not a good fit for watercolours. Nice, simple, fairly sturdy for multimedia work, mind they aren't overly wetted or worked. Slim thickness, and perfect for framing.

I will be painting on these for my art business they always work for my acrylics and look great!!!

Great price for 8x10” ready to paint canvases. We have used these with acrylic paint, they do not work with watercolor. Arteza is a company that usually offers good quality art products for a good price!

This is exactly as shown and exactly what I expected. I like that there is a decent number in the package and the quality is good. I got these to practice painting a design I want to use on a tabletop. It is an expensive table so I didn't want to use regular paper. I wanted to color it exactly how I will make the design on the table. I am going to be able to use the practice drawings that come out nice as wall hangings because these little canvases will be cute framed. The tight-shrink packaging is a bit annoying to open, but I prefer that to wasteful-excessive packaging. It gets a five because there is nothing wrong with the product.
