Alpine North Women's Vegan Down Drawstring Winter Parka Down Alternative Coat

I purchased the Black, size MediumI have to say at 1st I was sceptical, but I'm so glad I bought it!It's lightweight but unbelievably warm, I was shocked at how comfy it is!Today is was 5 degrees in NY & the only thing on me that was cold, was my nose!I usually wear a Small but I wanted extra room for heavy sweaters & it's perfect!!!Update: the love didn't last long, stitching started coming out & buttons falling off. I have to send it back & wait for a replacement. I am disappointed with the quality

If your only concern is comfort, warmth, and a vegan alternative to down... this might be the perfect option for you. However, I want all those things and also want to feel cute. Instead, I felt more like a big navy marshmallow. It was puffy in the wrong places. I'm super picky about the appearance of coats because I'm already 5'10 and 160 pounds and don't need any help looking bigger than I already am. I got a size small and it was plenty roomy to layer under, so I'd say this coat runs slightly large. I may have even been able to fit an xsmall (not a normal size for me), but it might have been too tight in the chest. Overall, super cute coat that seems to be of decent quality and certainly worth a try. The drawstring waist and elastic cuffs were really nice features. Color was beautiful. But I'm returning it and continuing the search for a functional AND flattering coat.

This is a nice coat for the price — the vegan insulation was warm during a short walk in frigid temperatures at night, and it was hot inside the house, so I think it’s a warm coat.— The hood itself needs an adjustable tie on the back so it can be made bigger/smaller (some coats have these, I don’t know what the correct term is). As it is, it’s pretty large and airy, yet the fur is not very thick or long, so you have to zip the jacket all the way up to keep your face warm.— The thumbholed inner sleeves are really great, very thick, nice material. The color is a nice cream color, not yellowy.— It’s very light, and squishes down, so it’s very easy to carry.— I wish it had a button or Velcro flap on the front, as I like to be able to easily adjust certain areas while I’m outside.— I wish the pockets had a side slit as that’s more natural for my hands than trying to put them down into the pockets, but the upper pockets make up for that somewhat.Overall, a warm, nice looking, light, long parka — with thumbholes!

This coat is amazing! It’s a little longer than expected, I’m 5’6” and the longest part hits right below my knees. But I wanted a coat that was a little longer so I’m very happy with the length! It’s incredibly warm, without making me feel like I’m overheating. . I’m an XL and ordered my size, it fit perfectly! I can even fit sweaters underneath. I cannot recommend this coat enough!!

so cozy, so warm, sumptuously heavy unlike most vegan coats.I'm 5'4 and it hits just above my knees.I'm curvy, and this is totally zippable.I love that the fur on the hood is detachable with buttons, and it is seriously so cute either way.
