No need to buy plastic toothbrushes. These function exactly the same and have no disadvantages whatsoever. It’s also a great value! For the price of one or two plastic toothbrushes, you get 5, and they last just as long! It’s a no-brainer. All the packaging is plastic-free too, so these rank high for low waste. These ones don’t come with anything on them to tell them apart, but we actually made a fun little craft project out of decorating our first pair. We used sharpies, but you could use nail polish or oil paints (tempera and acrylic are not advised because they’re water soluble).I know the big question for some moms is, “Will they give my kids splinters?” This is the third or fourth brand of bamboo toothbrush we’ve used over the last four years, and my partner and I have NEVER gotten a splinter from one.And yes, you can wash them in the dishwasher and reuse them as tile grout brushes. Just give them a little time to dry when they come out before using them.

These toothbrushes are totally compostable, including the bristles. So nice not to be shoving plastic in my mouth every day. The bristles are just right for me, and I have had none fall out. Some people complain about wood splinters with bamboo toothbrushes, but I have never had that problem. One more thing I own that is not plastic. Every little bit helps.

Thick enough handle to brush teeth properly but I’ve only used once so far. If your not drilling your teeth with the brush, this will stand up for repetitive use. Very pleased and will buy again if the bristles don’t fall out in less than a month.

These are such a great deal! My one complaint is that occasionally a bristle will get stuck in my teeth and get pulled out from the brush, but they aren't brittle or anything.

I was looking for a bamboo toothbrush with firm bristles. Great toothbrush but the bristles are too soft.

We are always losing toothbrushes but with these we put names on them and they are amazing. The kids love to use them and we love that they wont harm the enviroment!
