I love this tea! Great taste! Lowers blood sugar. Make sure you drink it with your meal for it work good. Make sure to adjust your insulin or you will find yourself bottomed out and that's not good. I recommend drinking it with breakfast and lunch. You don't want to drop out in the middle of the night! I highly recommend the white mulberry tea! I've cut down on my insulin a lot! It's saving on prescriptions and I love it's a natural way to controll my blood sugar. If you also drink green tea to lower your blood sugar or anything else you may want to cut back. Depending on what you do and how well you are controlling your blood sugar, if your sensitive to changes, have younger children ect , it might be a good idea to have someone around when 1st tring the tea for your safety and others, just incase you bottom out and need help! Try it for a few days to see what it does to you before you grab some fast food and drink it while you have to drive! Be safe about it and take care! This may also be a great for lowering blood sugar in children and reducing the insulin use. Speak to your child's doc before starting and watch your child and test blood sugar. Now another concern is for those on insulin pumps, I don't know anything about the pumps and if you can adjust the insulin intake, use caution is all I know to say.Update : July 2014After using for months my A1C has lowered to a normal person without diebetes! Now before I decided to post this update I read a few new reviews & have to say something about the review about the green runs! Okay for those out there used to herbal remedies and natural care, you know there's a few things that happen from time to time when starting a new remedy, right! Just like eating a lot of fruit or veggies and even just sometimes the body flushes because its not used to the something new you just put in it! You may also look at it like this, you have to get the extra sugar out of the body, your body has to flush it out some how! Especially how quickly this starts working! Now if you saw this on Dr.Oz as many of us did that day he did say that there was that possible effect and it should eventually go away. So give it some time, medications have worse side effects then running to the bathroom till your body adjust to the tea! If you have this happen just remember lots of fluids and try to stay near a bathroom! IM 1000% satisfied with the results I'm getting and feel healthier than before I started it! My dr even said "I'VE NEVER HAD A PATIENT IN MY 40 YEARS OF PRACTICE TAKE COMPLETE CONTROL OF DIEBETES FROM COMA LEVEL WHEN DIAGNOSED TO "YOU NEED TO CHEAT (mmm cake and sweets!) I purchased this product based on the fact that it would reduce blood sugar levels for people suffering with diabetes. I can report after using this product that it does indeed live up to that expectation. That’s the great news. However there is the taste and smell of this stuff. It’s like taking an ashtray full of butts and ashes and dumping them into your favorite tea mug with hot water. I haven’t smoked since I was 22 and I feel like I’ve picked up the habit once again. I wish I could say my description was a slight exaggeration in an attempt at humor but unfortunately, I’m dead serious. I’m torn as to how I should rate this product. On one hand it deserves 5 stars for living up to the expectation of reducing blood sugar levels but as for the taste and smell of this stuff I can only give it one. Splitting hairs seems to be the only fair way to solve this conundrum. I will continue to use this product for its intended purpose until I find something to replace it with that will give me the same results. Cheers!

I tried this product because of Dr. Oz. I couldn't find it locally so sent off for it. Was worried about how it would taste, but that was unfounded. It is delicious--subtle fruity/earthy flavor, very pleasant. I really like the fact that it is 100% white mulberry leaf. Other brands have additional ingredients that I am leery of. I am not diabetic so I don't know about regulating sugar absorption; however I am a dessert addict so it couldn't hurt. I would have given it 5 stars if it were available in my area instead of ordering it online. But it's still worth the hassle of sending off for it!

I think it is helping me but not sure because I'm on new medication but have noticed when I drink it my sugar seems lower than usual. Unforunately because it is so expensive I will not be able to continue to buy it to find out if it truly is doing what I think it is. It's nice to learn the things that could help us from Dr. OZ'S programs but if we are unable to afford it, it is quite sad that it cost $68.10. That is truly a lot for 30 teabags but who ever can afford it I would say try it by all means. Have a wonderful day or night!

I bought this because my blood sugar was a bit high last time I tested - This Mulberry tea is supposed to help keep that normalized - or at least better - so I tried it - Let's just deal with the taste -No it doesn't taste like "dirt" - Not that I have been eating any lately - but is it as good as my peach or mint tea - No! - but you can drink it with a little lemon or Truvia - In any case it is all about its function - which I won't know until a few months from now when I am retested. Worth a try. As to cost - yup a bit pricey - but at about $1.00 per tea bag, sure a lot less than medicine.

Having had some success with other herbal teas, I'm hoping the next blood test will show a marked decrease in my A1c levels. This tea comes from the U.S., was packaged with care, arrived quickly, and the company asked for feedback which showed their concern. The fact that it only contained the white mulberry leaf was a big draw and it was the brand featured on the Dr. Oz show led to my purchase with hopes of seeing a significant drop in my blood sugar levels. It has an earthy, woodsy taste, but if it helps to control sugar levels, I will definitely purchase more.

The taste of the tea is different but I like it and I don't add anything to it. As far as helping my blood sugar I had a drop in it but if I retake it in less than one minute it goes back up. I have been drinking it before I eat, during my meal and after my meal. This may be wrong so I will now drink it with meals and see if it keeps droping my blood sugar.If this tea does what it says then this is better than taking meds.
