Disney*Pixar Cars: Mater Saves Christmas Storybook & CD (Read-Along Storybook and CD)

Cute book, my daughter loves the cars movies so I thought this would be perfect! Love that it comes with a CD.

A gift for a Grandson who loves the Cars series, Mater Saves Christmas was one of those things that he used repeatedly for quite some time. The addition of a CD with the book is a great concept and my grandson squealed with delight even before listening to it. If you or your little one are fans of the Disney Pixar series, this is a great addition to anyone's collection. It gets two thumbs up from every young one I've met who has read the book and listened to the disc. All those young minds could not be wrong.

Ok book, no disc. My husband refused to read it due to the story line

My older son is big into Pixar Cars; he loves the movie, the short clips, the story books, the calendars, and all things with Pixar Cars. Subsequently, we bought him Mater Saves Christmas, and he just loves it; the illustrations, the story, and the feel/quality of the book are great! After reading it to him the first time, he asked that we read it again, and then he got his mom to read it to him, and then he wanted to sleep with it! In short... 5 Stars!

My son is obsessed with all things Cars and this book was no exception. He loves this book. The pictures are fun and it's a cute sorry. It will be a Christmas favorite for years to come.

My son loves all things Cars related, but I have to admit I don't like most of the related books because they are not made very well, with awkward words and very cartoon-ish pictures that look very different from the movie. Not so with this book! I decided to take a risk and buy this book because my little guy has a Cars Christmas stocking and ornaments of Lightning McQueen and Mater. It is a beautiful book, hardbound with gold metallic on the front cover, and the pictures inside are nice paintings. The design of the Santa Car character is so clever, I love this little book. Reading it will definitely be a Christmas tradition in our house. Highly recommended for everyone! And as for this book touching the point that Santa Car is not real, only the "naughty" character who only gets dirty oil filters in his stocking questions it.

There are no 'chimes' or anything to indicate that it's time to turn the page. Furthermore, absolutely no character voices from the movie, and the narrator has a very plain, non-expressive way of reading the story. If you decide to buy this, do not do so for the cd read-along part. If you're just looking for another 'Cars' book to read yourself to your kids...then it's fine.

When the gasoline in Radiator Springs is stolen, Mater the tow truck and Lightning McQueen drive the town's letters to Santa Car at the North Pole, where they discover Santa's reindeer snowmobiles have been stolen as well. Features all the favourites - Lightning, Sally, Doc Sheriff, Ramone, and not forgetting Mater in Raindeer costume! Lovely illustrations, very funny and light hearted great pictures, traditional values. Going to be a Christmas present.Super cool present. Great for Christmas Eve!

bought this for my 2 year old. he absolutely loves cars so I put it in his christmas eve box. amazing condition, arrived alot earlier than expected, and the pictures are amazing hes going to love it. thank you

If you are a Mater / lighting McQueen fan, this Christmas book is a nice little present or stocking filler. Not going to change your life, just nice. I got it for my almost 3 year old boy.

Great for kids. My grandson loves it. Mater is always a big hit with the little ones. Great for all ages.

We bought this book for my grandson and he loves it and It gets read repeatedly. It seems to be particularly suited to his age (4-5)
