Moen YG0742BL Iso 42-Inch Designer Grab Bar, Matte Black

We purchased this for our shower remodel. We had previously used standard grab bars that were stainless but very plain. Think store bathroom.This bar is much more refined in the attachment point covers and overall look. It also has a softer grip material on the back side to insure a firm no-slip grip with soapy hands. We mounted ours on a 40 degree down angle toward the back of the shower where we have a shower bench. This makes it much easier to use to assist in standing up and is also a safety feature in that if a fall were to occur, one does not have to reach up very high to grab the bar.We are very pleased and plan on using this again in our other two remodels.

Very nice item but keep in mind the set screws that hold the bar to the wall flanges are difficult to get at if you are working with limited space.Plus once you get to them, you can only turn them 1/2 turn at a time with a tiny allen wrench. There are 3 per side.

The cushions on the inside of the bar is an added plus, no slipping.

They look good and of course function very well

Nice grab bars. I like the grips on the underside. Bought this for my ninety year old mother's bathroom.

It's beautiful and functional with rubber grippers on the back.
