Perfect width for the Trek Farley 8 fat bike
After buying several different types of rim tape for my Trek Farley fat bike, this tape was the only one that worked flawlessly in my tubeless conversion. It was the perfect orange for my custom build and the perfect width. There was no fast shipping available for this item but after several failed attempts with other brands and finally getting a good product, I didn’t mind the wait.

Might need two??? So far, so good!
I have a M2S Fat Tire bike with OVAL holes in the rims. The rim strips I removed from the factory were doubled and they were black. I wanted the red detail so I ordered. They do just fine, (so far) but they are pretty thin and "bubble" quite a bit from the surface of the rim. So far no issues, but you may want to "double up" just in case. I love the new look!

The answer to all your questions
If you’re like me and have 27.5 wheels on your fat bike you’ll likely have the same questions I did. No they are not made to fit a 27.5 wheel. However, you CAN make them fit, and they work just fine. I stepped on the bottom of them with my feet (they’re loops) and pulled up on the top with my hands, slowly stretching until i could get them on the rim. Will they work with a tubeless setup? Yes but you’ll need some good rim tape. i can’t speak to the durability yet since i just put them on but they seem like they’ll be just fine.

Great purchase.
I purchased not really knowing if the color matched my Farley 7 with 4.5 tires but fit perfectly, I now pimped my rorange Farley with a splash if orange on the rim. To not: you need to be aggressive putting it on the rim. It will not hurt to stretch it out to get it on.

they are not wide enough for 4 or 5 inch fat tire rims, not mine anyway...
The product id a good product - don't take 3 sata rating toheart - i use both of them on one wheel, I'll order another set of them for front rim someday, but for now what i have is working... two overlapping and edge to edge of rim, seems to work out great,,, you just pay a little more... not worth sending back...

These may have done the trick
Our ebike was getting flats on the 'inside' of the rim and we couldn't figure out why since the bike came with similar liners to these preinstalled. So we added these liners on top and it stopped happening which is a huge relief since changing ebike tubes is not fun at all. I wish we would have tried these first as we went through 5 or 6 tubes and green goop too. Highly recommend these, they were easy to put on.
