Well this is an enormous quantity of cinnamon. It's the kind I wanted--CEYLON and NOT Cassia (which can cause liver problems sometimes if you take too much). This cinnamon is DELICIOUS. I don't understand the bad reviews. Yes it has a spicy kick. That's what cinnamon tastes like. And it smells amazing. Couldn't be happier with this!

This is so cinnamon-ee. Way better than traditional cinnamon. I put it in everything and it makes my lemon and ginger and olive oil drink top of the line. Delicious good stuff.

It is the "true" cinnamon. Ceylon Cinnamon is packed full of flavor and nutrients. I actually use it to help control blood sugar. And at this price point it's very economical especially if you add it to your subscription list.

It took me a while to get used to this flavor because when you've only had cassia cinnamon your whole life, you taste ceylon and think "that's not cinnamon!" Lol. And while it seemed less sweet at first, I'm not sure it is because I was just used to cassia cinnamon with sugar - in baked goods, on top of waffles, etc. So now I've grown to really love the depth and richness of ceylon cinnamon and use this for everything - including sweets.

I wanted some "real" cinnamon (meaning not cassia, which is sold and used as cinnamon but is technically something else) and this stuff is terrific. It has a slightly milder flavor than cassia, so sometimes I just use a little bit more. The powder is a finely ground texture, easily mixable in recipes. It works great for baking, and I've been throwing it in overnight oats with some dates for a healthy breakfast. As expected, the cinnamon is a deep reddish brown color, just what you'd expect. I am very happy with the quality and volume of what I received for the price I paid. I would buy this brand again.
