Probably one of the best speaker wire I have used
Never thought I would write a review on speaker wire, but this stuff is awesome. The jacket is very nice, kind of rubbery but not, has a silky smooth feel to it, almost like suede, and at the same time VERY flexible and light. Does not kink and lays completely flat. The wire itself seems pretty strong as when I stripped the wire ends there were no pieces flaking off that I could notice. I am not using this for an audiophile setup so I can't give opinion on sound, but they do work well for my application. I will say the only negative I found is that with certain types of wire strippers, the outer jacket was difficult to strip. I have three different style of strippers...The first 2 strippers did not work, one literally slipped right off the jacket the second just kinda tore at the jacket...last stripper I used worked perfectly, like it was made for this wire, and I was off to the races. here is a link to the stripper I used that worked flawlessly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WFL122J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Many Pros, Few Cons
Flexible. Haven't had any degradation issues. Seems a little undersized for 16 gauge, but still fits my wattage needs. My amp can send 100 watts rms. Although, the door speakers are probably only getting around 65rms. For the price it feels like high quality cabling, of course there are better 16 gauge products out there. For 16 gauge OFC this hard to beat.

Good Wire For Aftermarket Systems
Maybe you can get better, but you won't need better wire unless you're planning on putting together a competition-worthy aftermarket system. This wire is handling 4x door speakers and 2x amps powering those speakers plus two shallow mount subwoofers. I don't think there is any loss in performance - not that I could tell because everything gets more than loud enough so I never run my system beyond ~66% volume anyways. 16 gauge is plenty for both subs and smaller speakers as long as you're not running the lines really long (say, 25' or more). If you need to run really high powered systems (well over 100W RMS per channel) or have a long cable run to deal with then maybe step up to 14 gauge, but this is plenty good for my system that totals ~900W RMS at the moment (I'm making some swaps that will actually drive the total system power right up to 1000W RMS and expect there to be no issues using this wire). I have no complaints here - get this wire if you're OK with the price (I think it is competitively priced). Don't cheap out and get aluminum braided/composite stuff. That's no good at longer runs and can't handle higher power needs.

Good wire for the price!
Good wire for the price. Appears thinner than some other 16 ga wire, because some of those wires are "oversized" intentionally. This is why some people are saying its not really that good.

You're not getting what they are advertising.
If Amazon allowed 0 stars, this would be a 0. This is NOT 16 gauge wire; if may not be OFC either. After properly crimping a 16 gauge lug to this wire with a quality crimping tool, the wire FELL OUT. Then I tested the gauge - about 20. This is false advertisement. Extra thick insulation hiding insufficient copper, which can cause bad connections and start fires. Please do not buy this.

copper speaker wire
real copper wire, not cca! easy to solder to, very soft silicone insulation. a+ grade speaker wires for longer runs <100w

Las usé en mi auto y fue fácil instalaron con este cable tan versátil, ya que se puede instalar en lugares muy reducidos y de difícil acceso

When I got these 16 gauge wires to set up remote speakers, I didn't notice anything unusual. However, when 200 feet I bought was gone, and I needed more wire to finish the work urgently, I bought another 16 gauge speaker wires roll from a local shop, which turned out to be just a bit more expensive than these wires. What a difference in wire diameter! Clearly, the ones I purchased from Amazon were of a wrong size, visually of 20 gauge or so (in comparison to a new 16 gauge cable). The marking on wires is still "16", which is not what they are. Having that thin speaker wire would seriously affect the sound on the distance I need (about 30 feet long), impacting the impedance. Now I would probably need to rewire everything I did with a real 16-gauge speaker wires... Not counting several days spent doing the work. The only positive note for these cables is that they have a nice color and soft to work with (probably due to their thin wire...).
