While I agree, under the stress of some use, these chopping sheets are effectively disposable. I do find that they have a unique and valuable feature that can only be found in these and similar products: I can chop a bunch of stuff and then curl the mat to take the chopped stuff to the pot without having spill-over. They are my go to choice for chopping. I use the rigid boards I have only for special tasks now that I have these mats.

The old stiff cutting boards made it difficult to scrape ingredients into a bowl, but with this flexible one, you can just funnel them right in. When you're done, all you have to do is spray it off in the sink and put it in the dishwasher.

I have used mats for years now and have several kind. I don't like the printing in the corners are coming off and are coming in contact with the food. Don't know if this ink is safe or not. I like that they are thicker than most of the mats I have purchased. They stand up well to the knife cutting but not indestructible, so be careful. I use several at a time when I am cooking my meals because they are so handy. I am still on the fence about the waffle backing that keeps them from slipping as easily. I liked that I could use a matt and turn it over immediately to use for something else, with these you can't do that. I would recommend these mats.

I bought these because I've purchased these before...... or so I thought. I especially like the first ones I had because they were NON SLIP. The ones just received are definitely SLIPPERY and I will not purchase these again. When working with knives these are a hazard. I'll look for some ones that don't slip.

I was disappointed to find that the logo and image printing on the corners of the mats began to smear off only a week after I received them with regular use and hand washing (I have not put these in the dishwasher at all). Otherwise, I'm happy with the quality of the mats themselves, just mildly concerned about the ink (?) coming off on the food. I try to avoid the printed corners now. I won't go through the hassle of returning these, but will probably look elsewhere when it's time to replace them.

Really liking these! Have used the bonus measurements mat a couple times already when making Irish Soda bread. SO nice not to estimate diameter! The cutting mats great and a time saver, as opposed to bleaching boards in the middle of meal prep. Buying several more as Xmas and wedding gifts-I think they are that useful.

didn't hold up to cutting veggies. cutting matt cut right through. oh well.
