Excellent dryer
Brilliant dryer. Heat up to help dry, cover has enough space to put my dehumidifier inside to accelerate drying. Useful it's on wheels as people knocking into it doesn't break it.

Soft, dry washing - even in the winter!
Absolutely love this! I had been struggling with drying my washing during the winter months to the extent that I was reluctant to wash stuff as it would be all over the house and would dry crispy/hard. I had been reading about electric airers for quite a while but finally decided to take the plunge over christmas. I am sooo glad that I did! It is large, so you can't really hide it when it's in use (I fold it and hide it behind a curtain after use) but it dries my washing beautifully. I bought the cover as well as this seemed to be what users were advising and I can't get over how soft and pliable my washing is after it's dried! It certainly isn't a quick fix like an actual dryer but I can leave stuff overnight and it is usually dry by morning. Towels, clothes, jumpers - everything. One of my best purchases ever.

Expensive but useful
Not sure how โsheernessโ and โthicknessโ relate to this item but it is a relatively good quality item. It is quite expensive for what it is but I suppose if the blurb is to be believed you may recoup some of the outlay by cheaper lekky bills compared to a tumble dryer. It was relatively easy to assemble and I think that having a cover is essential to reduce drying times but this is an additional cost, which again is quite expensive for what it is. The frame is mounted in four swivel wheels and one of mine was seized (they do have locks/brakes in them and it was in the โoffโ position). I contacted the supplier but they stated that they didnโt have any to replace my faulty one (which suggested to me that if they did have one they may have replaced it) and that I should contact Amazon as I had ordered the item through them. I would call that being โfobbed offโ! Happy with the product other than that and a full load will dry in 10-12 hours. Folds away quite neatly.

Fantastic item
Brilliant addition to drying clothes, cheaper than the tumble dryer

Not recommended
Wouldnโt recommend. Cover is the most flimsy thing ever and just rests on top of the airer. The washing only dried on the heated section of the bars the rest I had to put the dehumidifier on the clothes dry function to dry the rest. Returned as not fit for purpose, also have to pay for return so be aware

Bought to dry clothes and not just to air them
It seems to work very well it seems sturdier than it looks, the cover provided is a little fiddly to put together but works great I used super glue to attach the wire former rods that come with it because they seem to pull out of the plastic centre piece too easily and have had no problem with it since, once loaded up with clothes after I've washed them I put the wet clothes on the rack and zip up the cover, switch it on and shut the door up the clothes usually dry in about twenty four hours some heavier items of clothing need to be turned and put back on for a while longer one advantage of it is it warms the room up quite well, this time of year being very wet it's great to be able to dry clothes indoors, it doesn't seem to take up an aweful lot of space when in use, electricity consumption is quite good being only 500 watts. Doesn't cost the earth to run it, as it warms the room as well then I find that the radiator valve shuts down so saving money on heating that room when it's in use, I haven't worked out the savings on the heating bill yet but should imagine that it will offset the running costs of the clothes dryer, we will have to wait and see

It works, kind of.
This was a hard product to rate. It does what it's supposed to for the most part but not in a very successful way. Some positives, it's heated and it distributes its heat well, it's fairly sturdy, enough at least to hold a decent sized load of clothes effectively, and it folds up pretty compactly. It's still quite large though so you may want to measure the space you think you'd store it. It's about the size of a large door when collapsed. It's biggest weakness is its really cheap construction. When you are collapsing it you have to turn the "shelves" in a particular direction and they don't all turn in the same direction. If you are careful and good at remembering which direction to turn them you'll probably be fine but I turned the middle shelf the wrong direction with barely any force and it snapped off where it was connected to the frame. I didn't feel any resistance when doing that, so the plastic is pretty weak. There are arrows on the plastic part of the frame that tell you which direction to turn them but they are really hard to see, just molded into the plastic (so the exact same color as the plastic they are molded into) and I didn't even notice them until looking at where it broke. Even after it snapped the thing still works, I just have to not put much weight on the middle shelf. Be careful in using it, it's pretty fragile.

Fab airer
Not used it to it's full potential but so far very good, I have to have this up in my dining room due to lack of space elsewhere and glad to say it doesn't take too much room up, it does get quite hot and dries the clothes especially t-shirts very well, I do rotate jeans, sweatshirts and heavier items around, it's very sturdy and takes a lot of weight, I like it for the fact I can load it, switch it on, cover it and leave it to do it's job, I do this mostly in the morning as I've not ventured to leave it on over night, glad I bought this as it's better than the open out one I had and was useless.
