Just purchased our 2nd Halti. The first one only lasted over 4 years for our 130lb Great Dane. It was used at least twice daily for long walks at home and in parks. The Halti is the only way for me to control her head at all times. The first one did not have the padded nose cover. This one is so much better for her. I have recommended the Halti to many people. If you want absolute confidence in control for your dog's safety, this is the one for you.

I love this but my dog is not a huge fan. She doesn't like the sensation on her muzzle of something there. I think it tickles. But you get great control with it for pulling an other unwanted leash behaviors. It's harmless and a great alternative to a muzzle or harness.

I ordered this dog headcollar January 7, 2015 and it wasn't delivered until early April. When it arrived, it was a inferior copy of the first one I ordered 6 months ago (I was purchasing a medium instead of a large since I thought it would fit my dog better). Lighter weight webbing, the padded strap that goes around the dog's nose is not as padded as the original one I purchased. The metal hardware is not the same as the original hardware. I plan to return this product and get a refund.

Fit my dog perfectly and doesn't make her nose sore like the other gentle leader. It fits differently and is still effective.

This is a very good product. It looks like it is well made and fits my smaller Lab/Collie mix well.

We Ordered the correct size for our dog. It Was not adjustable around the muzzle. The option to tighten was not available and it Fell right off of our Saint Bernard's muzzle. Quality of the halter was not what we expected for this brand name. We have a Halti for our other dog and it's high quality.

I will never again use this on my dog. I feel like a horrible owner for buying this.

Ich habe (nein...hatte) Probleme mit der Leinenführigkeit meiner Germanin(72cm/55kg)-als Herdi, mit eigenem Kopf, so keine absolute Seltenheit!Ich habe händeringend nach einer Lösung gesucht! Ich trainiere seit 35 Jahren Hunde, mit großem Erfolg, aber meine Germanin war eine echt harte Nuss (sie war bis zum 6.Lebensmonat in schlechten Verhältnissen).Na gut- nach einem echt unmöglichem und frustrierten Sonntagsspaziergang,wo meine linke Hand anschließend rot und aufgerissen war von der Leine - habe ich eine Lösung gesucht - und nun gefunden!ICH HÄTTE ES NIE FÜR MÖGLICH GEHALTEN!Aber das Halti ist eine unglaubliche Erfindung!!!Es wirkt fantastisch!Nach kurzer (10 min)Eingewöhnung und Anpassung - ging der erste Spaziergang damit wie im Traum.Ich konnte den Hund mit einem Finger führen - kein ziehen, nix.Harmonisch und erholsam für alle Beteiligten laufen nun unsere Spaziergänge ab.Das Halti selber ist unkompliziert anzulegen. Es sitzt gut.Ist auch nicht zu instabil. Alles wunderbar.Die Größe 4 ist vielleicht nicht ganz optimal für meine Hündin. Die 3 wäre wahrscheinlich die bessere Entscheidung gewesen.Allerdings ist das kein größeres Problem, da nix wirklich viel zu groß ist,oder gar dadurch die Funktion an sich gestört ist.Vielleicht wären konkretere Angaben zu Rassen oder Maße für die Zukunft eine schöne Idee.Auf alle Fälle klare Kaufempfehlung!!!!

Bueno a ver el producto en si funciona, creo que están algo mal las tallas así que ojo, a mi me parecen grandes.Mi problema es que pedí 2 con DÍAS de diferencia y me han llegado 2 productos completamente distintos. Embalaje distinto, calidades distintas (pidiendo la misma talla del mismo producto al mismo vendedor). La segunda correa está peor terminada, el cuero de la zona del morro mal cortado, de hecho corta y lo tuve que arreglar. Además la tela mucho menos suave en esa segunda correa. También el tamaño nada que ver, una da mucho más talla que otra y el enganche al collar es también más largo lo cual hace que funcione peor. También han cambiado los enganches. Es bastante difícil hacer fotos pero para que os hagáis una idea, siendo iguales hay uno que solo le vale a 1 de mis perros (menos mal que las letras son diferentes y los puedo diferenciar)La primera me gustó pero la segunda no.Ojo que es una lotería. Me he quedado un poco desencantada con la segunda.

Unsere Charly ist ein kleiner Alptraum an der Leine. Sie zieht und zerrt bis sie würgt und Scheuerwunden hat. Vermutlich ist das unsere Schuld gewesen, da wir recht spät mit ihrem Training begonnen haben. Da hat dann auch der Besuch in der Hundeschule nicht mehr geholfen. Im Internet haben wir dann den Halti gefunden. Wir waren erst recht skeptisch, da er doch sehr kritisiert wird, haben ihn dann doch gekauft und unserer Tierärztin gezeigt. Sie empfand ihn für in Ordnung und hat uns dann noch ein paar Tipps gegeben.Wir benutzen den Halti plus Halsband und zwei Leinen, wobei wir die Haltileine lockerer halten als die Normale. Charly fand es zu Beginn irritierend und hat andauern versucht ihn abzunehmen, doch schon am Ende der ersten Gassirunde hat sie ihn gar nicht mehr gespürt und sie lief artig neben mir, was noch nie passiert ist. Kein einziges Mal zerren! Schon eine kleine Bewegung an der Halti-Leine hat ihre Aufmerksamkeit auf mich gelenkt und das Spazieren gehen sehr erleichtert.Solange der Halti richtig genutzt wird, finde ich das Ding top. :)

This has been a life-saver for me and my 8 month old golden retriever, who is very naughty on leash! We have tried so many different harnesses, and this one has been the best. The only problem is, he HATES IT!! He tries to rub it off his nose throughout our walks, and if I am not paying attention, he will be successful! Remember to have the neck strap on tight-only one finger should be able to slide through-this will help with your dog slipping his nose out!UPDATE ** Our 8 month old golden retriever is now over 2 years old.We are still using the same Halti, and he no longer hates it. After a few months, he became very comfortable with it. It is just a regular part of his walks now. I recommend watching a YouTube videos featuring an older womanand how she uses the Halti as a reward system.It really worked for us.Even though our puppy has become an EXCELLENT walker on leash (we are SO proud of all of us), we will likely continue to use the Halti, it is that impressive of a walking system.If you are struggling with a pulling, reactive dog, give this a try for a month...your dog will eventually learn that the Halti contributes to peaceful walks, where YOU are the leader. It is a life-changer.

Obwohl der Züchter es schon empfohlen hatte, habe ich sehr lange gezögert, aus Angst, unserem Hund weh zu tun. Blödsinn !!! Unser 10 Monate alter Labrador hat leider in der Pubertät angefangen, wie verrückt an der Leine zu ziehen. Irgendwann waren die Spaziergänge nur noch Stress und das berühmte "Stehenbleiben, wenn er zieht", hat plötzlich nichts mehr geholfen. Er hat sich brav hin gesetzt und beim Weitergehen sofort wieder gezogen. Und "bei Fuß" hatte für ihn wohl irgendwann die Bedeutung "zurückkommen, anstupsen und weiterrennen". Also habe ich irgendwann das Halti bestellt. Anziehen war mit Leckerli kein Problem. Und siehe da ... Der Hund hat sich ganz schnell daran gewöhnt und schon der 1. Spaziergang war viel entspannter. Ich habe tatsächlich das Gefühl, auch der Hund ist dankbar, dass er jetzt endlich versteht, was ich von ihm will.Er läuft jetzt ganz lieb neben mir und solange er nicht zieht, hängt die Haltiseite der Leine locker durch, der Nasenriemen ist ganz locker. Wenn er anfängt nach vorne zu rennen und ich dann die Haltiseite ganz leicht anziehe, spürt er es leicht an der Nase, reagiert sofort und die Leine hängt wieder locker durch. Super Sache ! Im Gelände geht es dann an die Schleppleine, das weiß er schon, da kann er toben und rennen, aber der Hin- und Rückweg sind jetzt viel entspannter.Ich kann es nur jedem Pubertäterbesitzer empfehlen !
