Ripped after 3 hunts but Seller Sherper's made it right.
UPDATE on my review below: Sherper's, the seller reached out to me about the ALPs Z turkey vest. Jeremy, to be specific handled my issues by sending me out a new vest within 2 business days of reading my review. I cannot say enough about the customer service he provided. He went above and beyond and took care of me, the customer first and then took the issue up with the manufacturer afterwards. This is how it's supposed to be. Great job Sherper's! Excellent job Jeremy.I purchased this vest on March 30th, 2022 from Amazon as a replacement for my old vest of 15 years which is faded pretty bad. No rips or tears, just faded. After reading all the hype, I decided on the ALPZ Grand Slam. I hunted in the vest 3 times and on my most recent hunt on April 30th, as I went to place my box call back into its pocket, I noticed that the the vest had ripped apart at the seam (see pics). Amazon's website says the NLT return date was April 27th, a mere 3 days before my disaster. I'm not sure who will see this however, I have hopes the ALPS Outdoors will and do the right thing and send me a replacement vest ASAP as the TN turkey season ends in two weeks on May 15th.

It tries to do too much and does none of it well.
First let me say I'm a short stocky guy(5'5 165lbs). Bought the standard size and it is still pretty big on me. I have adjusted it as small as it will go and taped things where I can. The frame is way too tall to use as it makes the vest sit funny on anything but perfect level ground. I removed it completely which made the vest way lighter. The amount of storage is good. The pot call pockets are hard to open when it is on. I have to remove my gloves and use both hands to get them open because of the circular shape. The others work well it's because of the circular shape. The seat will not stay up with the weak magnet that is made in and you cannot clip and unclip the seat without taking it off each time. For the price I think it's too bulky, weighs too much with the frame, is noisy when moving, and doesn't function well in really any one aspect. I feel like they tried to pack it with features but none of them work well. It is well made though.

Comfortable
This vest came packaged extremely well. I love all the pockets and the pot call holders. Lots of pocket space. It sits well but, if you plan on doing extra long hunts bring an extra butt pad. The pocket for the strikers is reallyNice as well. There’s a lot of nice vests on the market right now but in my honest opinion you can’t go wrong with this one. I also read where people had problems with the chair legs breaking off, I personally can’t vouch for that. I’ve enjoyed mine!

Kinda nice, but!
I am an old turkey hunter and its getting harder for me to get comfortable sitting on the ground hunting so when i saw this I thought this was the way to go. When it arrived I inspected it and found that it was well made but then when I put it on and tried it out problems started to show up. The magnets that hold the seat cushion up are not strong enough to hold it. Storage pockets are not user friendly. Your slate calls will get wet. The worse thing is the legs will not lock in place like they should. The clamps that they put on them are made from plastic and will not hold them out because if you tighten them down enough to hold them extended they will break. You have to extend them to get comfortable but that is not possible. The point for buying this vest was for the legs with the large pads on them so I would be comfortable and not sink into the ground. If they would change there locking system this would be a better vest. I sent it back.

Bad design: cheap frame clamps BREAK WAY TOO EASILY!
Bottom line: tube clamps for frame feet are not up to their task and will break with little use. Terrible clamp design/reliability. Sorely disappointed. Vest is decently appointed with features. However tension/torque required (to keep the adjustable feet properly positioned) exceeds the capability of the cheap plastic clamps. Most hunters are buying this vest because of the frame and adjustable seated support feet, but they will soon meet the same fate--broken frame clamps rendering the feet useless. Will update if/when ALPS is available for support. As it stands, I will be stuck turkey hunting without the frame / feet. Fortunately, the whole frame will detach with little effort, but that wasn't why I bought this vest. (Read: I'll probably just hunt with my old vest).

Needs more adjustability
I really wanted to like this vest but considering the price, I expected more. First off, I liked the pockets and had no problems organizing and accessing gear. The large pouch on the back of the vest was large enough to fit two decoys inside. Having said that, the vest itself fits very loose. I'm 5'10 190lbs and ordered the regular size; however, even after cinching down the straps all the way it was still loose, even over a jacket. The kickstand frame, which is what initially attracted me to the vest, was also lackluster. Mainly, because it needs more adjustability. With the legs at their shortest setting, I was still sitting very upright. It would have been nice to make the kickstand recline more, not only to create a lower profile but also to take some pressure off my lower back. Combined with the loose fit, I found myself sliding off the seat so it made for a very uncomfortable experience. I haven't tried the vest with the kickstand removed, but what's the point of spending the extra money on the vest if I'm not going to use its main feature?
