Made in Japan... not surprised with the quality. Bought the 0.1 and 0.2mm set. These are thinner than a human hair. I wonder how they make these so precise and so fine. They need to be used with vertical force only; no lateral force. Therefore unless mounted in a bench mounted drill, you will break them easily.As for performance, they are excellent. They are actual tungsten carbide because I am drilling 2mm thick steel sheets. These are meant to be used in bench mounted drills; not for hand tools like Dremel unless you are as skilled as a surgeon with a very delicate touch. If you break them, it's your fault.

Great for fixing broken vias on PCBs
Worked great to fix bad 0.2mm dia. vias in prototype PCBs. I used these bits by hand - gently turning into the via hole partially filled with solder mask, then pulling straight out to clear the hole making room for a small piece of mag wire to be soldered across top & bottom sides to fix the broken contact. Delivery was on time and the condition of the bits inside a nice plastic case was exactly as shown in the photo.

These are high quality drill bits. Unlike the same type of “no-brand” micro-bits from china. I plan to replace all my micro drill bits with this brand asap.
