Quality Product (Cannot confirm on surge protection part)
I brought this product to overcome the issues with ACT Fibernet, where my router gets damaged when there is rain.Build quality looks great.Speed was good, Does not throttle internet speed.The grounding wire was missing atleast for me.It would have been better if a wire along with a plug would have been available with product to connect it to earthing line.

Erdung der Netzwerkinstallation
Nachdem ein Blitzschlag meinen Router, Switche und Heizungssteuerung gekillt hat, war ich auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit zur Erdung. Meine Wohngebäude bzw. Hausrat hat zwar bezahlt, aber der Aufwand drumrum war eben nervig. Ich habe mein Netzwerk im Keller an der Gasleitung geerdet. Zusätzlich hängt die Heizung nun noch an einem Überspannungsschutz von Brennenstuhl.Ob das jetzt wirklich alles etwas bringt, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Der Blitzschlag war bisher der Einzige in 30 Jahren.

Cheap and necessary for outdoor installs
Installed on all my exterior AP’s and cameras, not only for peace of mind, but makes a handy coupling box so The AP’s can be relocated with a smaller run of cable at a later date
