Green Eggs and Ham 60th Birthday edition

This is one of the first books my kid started reading by herself. She loves it. Easy to read and fun.

My 5 year kids love this book.. Big pictures and few sentences in one page. Kids automatically attract to this. Even pictures have self explicit meanings. Kids interpret sentences while looking at pictures. Go for it, recommended for 5-6 year old kids

We had already read the book in our library. And something about the rhyming sounds or being picky eaters related well to my kid and myself and so we ordered the book for our "Sam I am" moments. Most parents have to deal with picky eaters upto an age and those constant frusturations when the veggies remain in the plate, tanturms over no green stuff could be dealt to an extent by using the same sing-song way as in the book (making up your own "sam" and "ham" versions). Not that they would magically start eating veggies but it helps disipate the anger (both parent and child). My 4 year old almost knows all the lines by-heart, it is typical Dr. Seuss rhyming, easy to learn, silly and fun.

My 6 year kids love to read at his own. Narrates beautifully. Simplicity of language is making him to read again and again. Going to order more

My 2 year old daughter has close to 100 books . There are a lot of them that she loves, some she is not too keen on . But I hate to admit, I have hardly written reviews for any of these books. But this one is a special one. It is a beautiful book, the text is very catchy and it is awesome fun. After 2 days of reading it, my daughter is runs around singing "could you , would you "all day and I catch myself humming it very often . It is great for reading out aloud and cheers you up instantly. Great for any age !

My 4 year old son & 9 year old daughter and 37 year old me love to sit with these books and read aloud!! What fun!! Good to unwind at the end of a busy day:) The creatives are really cool -so imaginative...my 4 year old learns the spelling and my 9 year old loves the wacky situation:)

Good value for money

Perfect gift for friends baby shower. This is identical to the "Green Eggs and Ham " book I had as a child. Very impressed that I could get a hard cover version.

Ne passez pas à côté de ce classique, chef d'oeuvre de littérature enfantine, s'adressant aux tout juste lecteurs, d'où la répétition des mots, avec juste quelques variantes. Amusez vous à le lire à voix haute pour goûter aux subtilités phonétiques que Dr Seuss maîtrise si bien, et chers profs d'anglais qui passez par là, cet ouvrage est excellent au collège, on peut même en faire une petite pièce de théâtre, un petit film. Il y en a de nombreux exemples sur Y**T**e faits par de grands élèves Outre-Atlantique, où Dr Seuss est un Dieu! ENJOY!!
