TAP Aquarium Filter Boost Balls Quick Start 280ml / 100 Balls (Pack of five (5))

Honestly I'm unsure about these. I'm so fed up of being ripped off for the other popular make, these seemed like a great deal. I dropped them into the tropical aquarium and found they don't melt for days whereas the popular clear ones melt instantly, so I ended up squishing them. That said, you are supposed to place in a filter, or filter bag.Did they work? I have absolutely no idea.

These are certainly good value when compared with the better known but much more expensive alternative!They seem to be just as effective and my aquarium stays clean with sparkling water.My only gripe is that a couple of the balls in each jar had dissolved into a 'gloop' in the jar. Perhaps the stock had been stored at too high a temperature. However, I found that a teaspoon of the gloop works too!

Delivered before stated date. Added 2 to my tank 1 in filter 1 in the tank, following day clearer water and even filter itself a bit cleaner. Cheaper than others of similar type. Worth a go.

These are just as good as the well known clear balls and a fraction of the price. I add them direct to the tank rather than the filter though and get perfectly clear water in my 175 litre tank overnight. Well worth bulk buying for the discount making them half the price of the clear balls.

Item arrived covered in blue gel from inside he tub, messy and spent the first few minutes tryna get the badly wrapped tape from around the lid off. The packaging is cheap and won’t close completely. Lid doesn’t sit right and it just keeps leaking. Waste of money

absolutely awful packaging, item arrived with blue liquid leaking from outside the cardboard packaging, a flimsy one too, the tub must have been crushed and leaked its contents, did not bother using at all, and straight to bin, as it was a complete mess. not seen anything packaged so flimsy. WASTE OF MONEY. would not recommend at all.

Don’t find that these have any effect at all on the algae that speedily builds up in the fish tank. Had high hopes, but just didn’t seem to work.
