Well made.
No problems. Seems to work fine.

Much tougher than Radio Shack RG-316
After having this for several years now I can tell you that they last WAY longer than the Radio Shack versions I purchased around the same time (in 2013). These have a much thicker coax cable, actually RG-58 rather than the RG-316 used by more "mass produced" units. If you are using these to pair with a Chinese radio like a Baofeng (as I am) you cannot afford any extra loss as the receiver is already much worse than name brand radios. Tonight I was examining a couple of different units that I own and have been using since 2013 and I was "inspired" enough by the difference to come back and write this review. If you see my photo you will see the difference in size and the outer insulation on the other brand is broken at the SO-239 end.

Great product for the price. A must for modifications on routers and Wi-Fi extenders
I hadn't noticed that there were two pigtails in the package for the price of under six dollars. I was happy to have them made the project that I was doing go flawlessly. I ended up purchasing two items so I ended up with four pigtails but since the prices of the pigtails were so cheap I am keeping in the second set for another project in the future. These pigtails are great if you are working with 2.4 GHz or even 5.8 GHz wireless routers and you decide to change the dynamics of the antenna reception. You are able to add a bigger or better quality of an antenna with a better DBI through the use of the these pigtails. Great product for the price.

solved my connection issues, but product feels fragile
This cable arrived in a timely manner...much sooner than i had anticipated. however, upon examining the cable for the first time, i came upon a note from the seller stating how their cables are fragile and can break easily if handled incorrectly. While this cable suits some needs in terms of stationary units, i was looking for something a little more sturdy and hardy, able to be handled often. Every time i use this cable, i feel as if I'm about to break it. But it serves it's propose for now until it breaks. For potable purposes, i would choose something different and less rigid. For stationary purposes, it works well.

Works!!
I needed a cable to connect my Baofeng UV-82 to a better (homemade) antenna, and this was the adapter. It worked just fine. It was better than the antenna that I built.I actually had to buy two of these before I figured out the right one. I first bought the one with the wrong male/female connectors (here come the jokes!!), but they're cheap, so it wasn't the end of the world.Overall, it does what it should, so there's no reason to buy a more expensive one or even look elsewhere.

I'm sure it will work fine, it just takes so long to get it using standard mail.
I'm not going to wait until I get this item before I rate it. I'm sure it's a good product and will work as good as any other of it's kind. I just wish they had a warehouse in the United States that stocked it so I could get it in less than a month. I plan to use this cable to access my base antenna. With a double SO239 barrel coupler I'll be able to use my dual band h/t amplifier. The price is right but if you value your time waiting or you waited to late to order it for some event; you probably should pay for the higher priced cables that are available for local delivery. I give this item only 3 stars because of the waiting time not for quality of the product.

Happy Customer
Very happy with the quality of the cable. I am using it to connect a Baofeng GT-3 MkII to a Tram 1185 and I am getting decent signal reports. Decent being a relative term of course, but hey, at $95 all in (radio, cable, antenna) I am getting decent signal reports through repeaters as I drive in and out of little valleys in a hilly area (Santa Cruz Mountains)...thats pretty darn good as far as I am concerned. Most likely I will be buying a second one once I homebrew an antenna for base operations on the HT.

used to connect uv5r to a magmount antenna
I got a magmount antenna to be able to use my uv5r in the car but the connector on the antenna was a pl259. I bought this so that I could connect the uv5r to it. I could have bought cable and crimpers and connectors and done it myself but as I'm just getting started in ham radio I didn't want to have a big outlay for these things if I don't do much with the hobby. I probably will eventually but for now, this cable was quick and easy to install. Also a tip, the sma connector doesn't spin on so when setting up in my car, I spin the radio on the connector.
