I bought this microphone for the PA system at work. It's a beautifully polished unit that looks great. Once we figured out how to splice it to existing mic cable it works perfect with great sound. The gooseneck moves freely without any noise and the on/off button is great. I highly recommend this unit.

The description states: "Connectivity Technology: XLR". To me this implied it would have an XLR union at the end of the wire. In the: "About this item Can be wired for most systems designed for communication systems including transportation, restaurant, commercial, and industrial applications ." Which is true, but I thought I was purchasing a unit with the XLR union at the end. I believe the connectivity technology should read: "hard wired". Other than that, it is a well quality unit and worth the expense.

Sounds just like the Shure it replaced
