Q: Can i use tish oil to stain the worktoo and apply antibacterial oil on top.how manny coat you reccimend each?thanks a lot

Personally I would avoid using the Revised version of Ronseal Wood Dye completely. I made the mistake of buying this product having run out of the older oil-based Ronseal Wood Dye, which worked like a dream and did a spot-on job. This new "improved" product is water-based, which has a tendency to raise the grain and is not a patch on Ronseal's discontinued oil-based version. Therefore, avoid wasting your money on this product and spend your money on something else that will do a far better job. I eventually ended up using Morrell's Light Fast Wood Stain, which is an alcohol-based wood stain. When using the Morrell's Light Fast Wood Stain I used exactly the same shade - Jacobean Oak - and the Morrell's wood stain did an excellent job and proved to be extremely good value for money. Therefore, my recommendation would be to avoid using Ronseal wood dye and buy the same shade in Morrell's Light Fast Wood Stain. If you do then you won't regret it.

Q: What area does it cover?

I recently bought COLRON wood stain 500 ml. It gives no mi dicatipn of coverage but you usually need two coats. Sorry I can 't help any more.

Q: Is this the antique pine colour?

To be honest I haven’t yet used the product as this is our new place I’ve quite a bit to do although I used it in our last place & the result was as near as the photo as I can tell may I suggest trying it out on a small area to see the result good luck. Chris
