Does NOT Fit Right! The Tail Hole Cutout Is Positioned Wrong, Almost Dead Center In The Diaper.
I ordered these diapers in XL for my almost 1 year old, 65 pound Golden Retriever, to protect my house from her heat cycle. Prior to this, I had ordered a different brand in XL, and they were really tight, but they worked. I ran out, and ordered this brand because the waist size range listed on the package was considerably larger than the first brand I purchased. Here is the problem with this brand: The tail hole cutout is almost dead center in the middle of the diaper. The pictures show it closer to the end of the diaper, which is where it should be. I cannot get these diapers to stay on my dog, because they have to be place according to the tail hole, which doesn't allow enough room to bring the diaper around her rear and to her tummy to then fasten it up to her back. I tried ripping the tail hole larger, but this just resulted in her private areas being exposed, allowing leakage. I would like a refund, because I cannot use these.

Great Diapers WHEN QUALITY CONTROL WORKS
These are the only diapers that actually fit my Akita. They are designed perfectly for large legs, I use the XL size of course. They hold quite a bit of urine which is necessary since Akitas drink A LOT of water. Highly recommended for large dogs with Akita style body. For reference my Akita is almost 14 years old and weighs 60 pounds.UPDATE: These diapers are great when all parts are attached (QC) but I just received TWO packages wherein most of the diapers are missing the adhesive tabs. I don’t appreciate having to alter and tape diapers that cost a dollar each, especially when I use about 3-4 diapers per day. REALLY lacking quality control and I’m not bothering to return as I need the diapers to keep accidents from appearing all over my house. Total bummer because when the tabs are there these diapers work fine. There is no way to contact the seller so buyer beware.

Works Great for my 70 lb Labrador!
Trust me - I had no idea that buying doggie diapers could turn into such a dilemma. First of all, the products at "Pet Stores" are outrageous overpriced. Second, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, try to save money and go with Depends. Haha! You will get several peculiar looks at Walmart and when you cut a hole for the day, it dumps diaper absorbing crystal sand everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Third, trying to get your dog to wear little girls panties is another bad idea - Haha you need to be able to cinch the waist and Jazzy May was not a fan of Princesses. In all seriousness though, the Vet's Best diapers are a great price and great product. With a labradors slick coat, they sometimes tend to slide off (especially when she gets excited and has some overzealous tail wagging) but I can make them last a whole day (sometimes two) each. To fix the sliding problem, I purchased a cheap pair of washable dog panties and put it over the diaper - Makes her look more presentable and solves the problem.

These work wonderfully for my 14 year old lab sized dog with bladder cancer. I do recommend to anyone who uses these to also use a washable diaper cover over it. It will help keep the diapers from slipping down. Using the diapers has saved furniture and flooring from being ruined by her very frequent urination. I have to change hers often , so I go through quite a few in a day, making me wish they were more affordable . But the fact that my dog can still live out her golden years in relative comfort makes me very happy.

Great product!
I tried the chain pet store brand first and while they were a good fit and absorbed pretty well, they kind of seeped through when my almost 16 year old 90 lb lab had a full pee accident. Ordered these to test and couldn't be happier. I got the L/XL size. They fit about the same (the fastening strips are a little shorter) but they DON'T seep. She had a huge volume pee this morning and there was more liquid than could be absorbed and they still didn't seep. They aren't perfect - just like human diapers depending on the angle she's laying at there may be small leaks. But overall a great product that works as intended. And 1/3 cheaper than the chain store brand.Note - they don't work for poo unless she's laying down. When she stands everything goes out the tail hole, but that's not why I bought them - and that doesn't happen often for us.Honestly, this isn't part of the product review, but deciding to try diapers for my old girl was the best decision. As she is in overall good health other than her pee and mobility issues. But the large volume daily accidents were wearing on both of us. She was getting UTIs from peeing and not being able to get up and just laying in her mess (when I would leave to run errands for a couple hours, etc). This is a game changer and I'm happy to spend the money if it means her life is a little better and a little longer. Very happy to have this option!

No more pee on the floor!
We went up a size (to medium) because her haunches were so big it didn't fit well and it kept slipping off. I love that the tabs are truly reattachable. She doesn't mind wearing them and has helped since her back surgery she hasn't gain full badder function. It's super absorbent. I worried about her getting a rash, but it doesn't leave her wet if she pees right away in her diaper. It's kinda gross but I'm going to share anyway. The next size up is large enough so if she poops it traps it in the diaper, where the small size would squeeze out the tail hole. I know it's gross!

Great help
There are two cons to this brand - the hole for the tail allows urine to pass through it - rendering it in effective. The padding isn't very long so it doesn't give full coverage. But if put on securely, it seems more comfortable on the dog and also has tabs that allow you to remove the diaper for when the dog has to go outside - and it can be worn again without issue. Better material than plastic for that reason, and it seems breathable which serves well in heat. Doesn't make noise when dog walks and isn't as cumbersome.

Great for giant schnauzers size dog !!
Can’t thank you enough the company who made these. I have a giant schnauzer and no other dog nappy fits her. I have tried pull up 15 years old human ones with a cut for her tale, as the last thing but of course she got covered after a time with the stuffing from that nappy. This products does what it is needs to. My dog is very gentle and calm, won’t pull it off of herself but when she shakes it does come off.It is a big relief that now I can buy a pack with a tape hole for her knowing she won’t leave mess around herself.

Quite absorbent diaper but pricy
It’s handy to use for my dog during her season. It’s very absorbent diaper and could last for about 8hrs, so she changes 3x a day. I particularly find it helpful to be able to cut it bigger around the tail hole so she can pass her poo easily without taking the diaper off. The only downside is it’s very pricy. It used to be £9 for 12 diapers and the recent one I bought has gone up to £12 (£1 per diaper)!!!

Go up a size...
Can't give honest answer about absorbency as although we measured our dog's waist (21in), and picked the medium size, these were far to small!Like trying to fit a dolls nappy on a 6mth old baby.If the correct size, I'm sure they would be comfy (though I'm not wearing them) as they are light weight, and the thickness just right, not bulky.

Great idea. But! They Just don’t Stay on.
These are actually Quite well made .But are rather bulky and weighty. The tabs can be stuck back down as there appears to be Velcro like material on the nappies. But unfortunately they just do not stay on .Falling off as soon as dog moves around. So The idea of these is great but in theory they just don’t work.Would not recommend.due to them not staying put.

good product but be careful on size.
nothing wrong with the product but be careful of what size you buy. I bought xsmall as that seemed right for my dogs measurements. She is a tiny yorkie but they are too small. I have had to buy a different size and get them in small.
