Fasta Pasta Microwave Pasta Cooker - The Original No Mess, Sticking or Waiting For Boil

This is a great Microwave Pasta Cooker. I mainly cook wholewheat pasta which cooks to perfection in 9 minutes when covered with preboiled water from the kettle. I made the mistake of placing the lid loosely on top of the cooker when using it for the first time and it boiled over. The lid should be put on properly after the pasta is cooked in order to carry it safely from the microwave to the sink when it is then used for draining the water out of the specially made drainage holes. Make sure you hold the little handles on the sides. It's just trial and error with the other types of pasta until you get the amount of water and cooking time that cooks it in the way that you prefer. I emailed the seller with a query when I first bought the Fasta Pasta Cooker but I didn't get any response.

Had trouble replacing our old plastic pasta cookware that had gone brittle would have replaced with similar but none of the reviews were good.The Fasta Pasta is very good and gives decent cooking results using the microwave on all different pasta types.it is very good quality plastic and easy to clean and will not go brittle over time.It also comes with instructions and believe it or not made in the USA.Would recommend.

Better than expected to be honest. Used it for spaghetti and fusilli pasta. Both good so will try it it with noodles and vegetables next. Would have appreciated the recipe book which wasn't provided sadly. Hsd to download it and print it. It is a necessity.

very good. if you don t ha ve time it really works for spaghetti and penne, fusilli, ecc...as well. it works for 2-max 3 persons because for more people you run the risk water could jump out. you also need time to understand the good quantity of salt, but this is not a problem. good price, good service. i would buy iy again. tks amazon

I bought my first Fasta Pasta cooker 15 years ago when I lived and worked in the US. I brought it back to the UK on my return. Last year my microwave broke and I made a mistake with as the replacement was not big enough for the Fasta Pasta so I gave it to the charity shop and bought an equivalent one from the EU. What a load of rubbish. As luck would have it the new microwave had a fault so I replaced it with one that would take the Fasta Pasta. I am now back where I started and I would not be without the Fasta Pasta.

Have used it for spaghetti, linguine, fusilli, penne so far. Pleased with results, not really much different from using a pot full of boiling water. Do not use lid when cooking because it may well overflow. Be careful when draining if using the lid to do so - you have to locate the lid properly and hold it by the edges so it does not come off which might result in scalding. Also, watch out for cooked pasta falling through measuring holes in lid when draining. A good buy.

I really love pasta, but hated the hassle associated with cooking it on the hob. It would create such a mess on my glass hob that would take ages to clean up. This is perfect and the pasta tastes exactly the same. I've only used the 1 person setting with regular De Cecco spaghetti and this did not stick at all (I used the required measurements of pasta and water). Can't say how it would work for larger portions though!

There is nothing wrong with this product except the lack of information regarding the suitability for some microwaves. It is too long to fit comfortably on the turntable of my Sharp oven. You will need at least 32-33cm at narrowest part of the oven otherwise the turntable will be struggling to go round whilst the dish will be jammed or keep catching the sides. The turntable motor will not stand much of this maltreatment and may burn out. The whole thing has been designed arround the long lengths of some pasta and not for all microwave ovens.

Fast shipping and quality product. This pasta maker works perfect. So easy to use and easy to cleanup. It shortens the cook time and can be drained right from the container.

This product is nothing less than miraculous! First, and most importantly - it works. It works exactly as well and as easily as it claims to work. Second - pasta come out perfectly every time - every pasta - every time. And it really is perfect pasta, with no clumps, no bumps, no sog, no overcooking, no undercooking! No big pasta pot to clean up - no strainer to clean up - just a quick rinse of the Fasta Pasta and you're done! It's a time saver, too as you don't have to wait 10 minutes for the big pasta pot to come to a boil and then wait another 9 to 11 minutes for the pasta to actually cook. And don't worry if your microwave is on the small side as mine is. I just lift out the turntable, set the Fasta Pasta in the microwave and it works perfectly. The biggest and best bonus for me, though, is the Fasta Pasta doesn't heat up the whole kitchen like a pasta pot, throwing off steam and heat for 20 minutes, and then more hot water to clean everything up. In my small condo, that is nothing less than a miracle. I used to stop cooking pasta once the warm weather arrived - but not now! Now I can eat pasta all summer long without turning my condo into a sweatbox! YAY!!!! and thank you Fasta Pasta! .
