The student molecular model set provides hands-on experience constructing 3-dimensional compounds, and is designed for classroom use. Atoms are precision drilled for precise bond angles and the spring bonds fit securely, and are flexible enough for double- and triple-bond arrangements. Set includes 100 pre-drilled, 3/4" diameter, assorted colored wooden balls (atoms): 12-oxygen (red), 5-nitrogen (orange), 30-hydrogen (white), 18-halogen (green), 5-sulfur (yellow), and 30-carbon (black), and 85 flexible connecting bonds (springs) in 3 different sizes- 1"(thirty-five), 1-1/8"(fifteen), and 1-1/2" (thirty-five). An instruction sheet is included on proper way to assemble models. Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.

Classy!
I feel so classy using these in my organic chemistry class. The cheap plastic ones dont even compare! My professor even asked if he could borrow them because the springs work better for double bonds than the plastic sets

Three Stars
Not as easy to use as the plastic set, but the quality is nice.

Had one in college. Bought this for my ten year old. Can't go wrong with this wood and spring style of model set.
